MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Once warm weather hits Minneapolis, patrons flock to outdoor patios to dine in the sun, and many of these restaurant patios have opened themselves to all family members, including Fido.

A website has compiled a list of dog-friendly venues, including a list of restaurants and coffee shops that allow dogs to join their owners on the patio. SidewalkDog.com has a listing director with user-submitted reviews of dog-friendly businesses in the metro, and Sidewalk Dog owner Ali Jarvis says dogs are increasingly considered to be legitimate family members who shouldn't be excluded from family outings.

The website offers a list of 67 dog-friendly restaurants, including:

Aster Caf Barbette Bulldog Northeast Butcher and the Boar Caf Maude French Meadow Jake O'Connor's Loring Kitchen & Bar Mill Valley Kitchen Sea Change Turtle Bread

Dog-friendly hotels, apartments, coffee shops, parks, events, pet services and rescues are also listed on the site.
