But fortunately for the new owners of El Chorro mdash;Kristy Tim Moore and Jacquie Dorrance mdash;theres nothing but positive energy coming from every square remodeled inch of the 1934 landmark restaurant and bar. See, the closing of El Chorro last year meant two things: the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. Many were sad to see the ole lady close, but everyone was happy to hear that shed be reborn. Why are we speaking about El Chorro with an anthropomorphic tone? Just watch the video posted above (or over on our YouTube channel here). We toured the place yesterday, before pretty much anyone in the media, with Kristy Moore. She talks about the place like its some kind of living, breathing spirit. Maybe it is. Maybe shes just crazy. Either way, we think youll agree the place looks absolutely stunning. But best of all, it looks comfortable as hell. Were always scared when somebody spends millions on a remodel too often they make the place feel snobby and exclusive but nothing of the sort happened here.
