Belk Announces Remodeling Of Bainbridge Store

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 11, 2013 Construction is set to begin this month on a remodeling of Belk at Bainbridge Mall, Bainbridge, Ga., representing a $1.2 million investment by the company. The project will enable the 45,000-square-foot store to expand its fashion brands and merchandise assortments.

The renovated store will feature an updated decor including new display fixtures in the shoes and accessories departments. The remodeling is scheduled for completion in late September prior to the stores grand re-opening on October 16, 2013. The store will remain open throughout the project.

The remodeling will result in many improvements designed to enhance customer convenience and satisfaction. For example, the ladies and kids shoe departments are being expanded, and more space will be added for ladies better apparel and other areas in the mens, boys and home departments. New ladies shoe brands being added include Anne Klein, Nine West and Jessica Simpson. Featured brands for men will include Belks exclusive MADE Cam Newton blazers, suits and suit separates, which launched earlier this spring.
