Source of the heat-a small oil-rag fire on wood decking 3 #39; from the structure. The fire was confined to a small area of decking. Heat from this small fire rose and became trapped in the eaves and raised the wood exposure to ignition temperature. Fire spread through the roofing construction and siding.
