First Step In Building My Shop (Salvaging from a Commercial Chicken House)
Today I removed 26 ga. (the thick metal) roofing metal from a commercial chicken house that the owner is going to tear down. He has abandoned the chicken business and is going to level the land for pasture land. I am fortunately healthy and able to salvage some of the metal roofing (30 sheets) and I am going to get 4 of the metal trusses. With this excellent material I plan to build a shop that is 36 feet wide and 48 foot long. I have always wanted a nice big shop but due to other issues I have never had the money to do this, but finally it looks like it is going to happen. I will post updates.
