The architecture and design firm ADD Inc, now with Stantec, has completed the first phase of the $40 million dollar renovation of the bayfront Southgate Towers residential building located at 900 West Avenue in Miami Beach. The completed North Tower includes a new faade with glass rails, 242 newly redesigned units, lobby, fitness center with yoga room and the addition of restaurant and retail space.

The residences at Southgate Towers, including penthouses, one- and two-bedroom and studio apartments, have new carpeting in the bedrooms, porcelain tile in the living areas and bathrooms, recessed lighting fixtures, European-style cabinetry, washers/dryers and hurricane-proof windows. Modern amenities such as Wolf/Sub Zero appliances, stone kitchen counters and whirlpool tubs have been added to the three-bedroom penthouses.

Both towers will share the new resort-style pool with cabanas and a spa pool plus a waterfront restaurant and bar and a private marina with boat slips.
