Police are warning residents to lock their sheds and garages following a series of break-and-enters in the East Hill area of the city.

Over the course of last weekend, the Prince Albert Police Service responded to numerous break-and-enters in the area. Thieves primarily targeted sheds, attached and detached garages.

The police service reminds residents to use locks and security devices at all times, to make sure yard and alley lights are operational and to become familiar with the contents of their sheds and garages in case police are required to do a report.

Anyone who observes activity they might consider suspicious should contact Prince Albert police at 306-953-4222.

Individuals with information relating to the weekend break-and-enters should similarly call local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
