Raiders broke into six sheds at a village allotments - making off with spanners.

Police are appealing for information after the sheds were broken into in Newton Road, Whittlesford. Theburglaries happened between Monday and Tuesday last week. Offenders have entered the sheds by forcing locks and stole a gallon of petrol in a red can, various tools including a roll of spanners.

And a callous thief stole a wallet from a pram in Stapleford - while a parent was playing with their children.

The theft happened at the village recreation ground and happened on Friday last week at 3pm. The offender removed the wallet and works folder from an unattended pram, whilst owner was playing with their children in the play park.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
