Small Garden Shed Delivery with Wheels and Loader Through Fence and Down Steep Hill
This video shows what some may consider a difficult delivery of a small storage shed in Maryland. The customer has a fence in her front yard with a small gate as the only entry point to her shed site in her backyard. Once through this gate, the shed must travel down a narrow paved walkway and past a protruding tree. The prefabricated shed must also pass through this area without disturbing her neatly landscaped garden beds or pathway lights. Once the garden shed has passed these obstacles, it must be delivered down a steep hill in the backyard to be placed in a shaded corner of the yard. 4-Outdoor was able to deliver this shed with some customer centered problem solving. We brought special equipment to complete this job, including a walk behind loader and shed delivery motorized wheels. Once we placed wheels under each corner of the shed, we used a walk behind loader to deliver the garden shed through the narrow gate and down the walkway. To deliver the shed down the hill, we had to strap the shed near the roof to stabilize while we slowly and carefully rolled it down the hill on the motorized shed wheels. Some prefab shed companies told this customer in MD that she could not have a shed. Other portable building companies told her that she must have her shed built on site for a substantially more money. 4-Outdoor always works toward the best solution for our customers.
