GRANGER -- Gumwood Road from Cleveland Road to the Michigan-Indiana state line is going to see its fair share of construction in the next few years -- something noticed easily by the absence of trees that once stood tall around and behind the historic Daniel Ward house.

Projects include the road expansion from both Mishawaka and St. Joseph County, as well as the Great Lakes Capital $50 million development at the corner of Gumwood and Cleveland.
