Rated 5 out of 5by Pam03 My main comment would be price. Over $6000 for 5 insert windows is pretty steep. Previous jobs included having to replace trim on the inside and outside of the house. This job was just replacing the double hung windows. The windows are wonderful, but even with the installation costs, it is a bit steep in price. Last year I had 3 double hung replaced, a kitchen window replaced that involved enlarging the opening, adding new trim on the inside and replacing the trim on the outside. I also had a dormer window replaced with an encasement window that involved enlarging the opening and adding new trim inside and out. For this job I could see the $8292 price that include a work force of 3-4 people that were at my house all day. This current job of replacing 5 double hung inserts took one worker a half day to complete, but the job was $6485 November 1, 2013
