Perform other related duties as assigned Applications Engineer II (Electrical Engineering) Department: Marketing / Business Development Location: Stafford, TX

Primary Responsibilities: Develop electrical distribution systems for use in hazardous (classified) industrial applications using recognized industry standards and specifications. Perform basic calculations and studies for electrical control panel systems. Provide CAD drawings and BOM using standard (and proprietary) CAD softwares. Review and check all assigned project electrical installation drawings for compliance with all company and project instructions (one-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) Provide pre-release for customer orders. Perform technical evaluations/comparison of major electrical equipment. Provide cost estimates for bid quotes. Review and check technical vendor submittals for installation requirements. Suggest and present technical solutions and/or alternatives to key customer issues and prepare quotations and appropriate documentation. Effectively manage quote and order turnaround time requirements. Provide technical assistance and service for customers, the New Business Development Team, and production. Required Skills / Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelors degree in electrical engineering or similar engineering field Minimum of 2 years electrical engineering experience Minimum of 1 year experience with ATEX or IECEX standards

Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Offshore technonolgy experience
