23-09-2011 21:47 This project took me all summer. The house was just being started as school let out, and the house finished up literally on the very last days before school started. I live about a half mile away (and about 200 feet lower) than this house, and I rode my bike up multiple times a day with my camera and tripod to get this footage. I went out of my way to make sure I got as much footage as possible. There were several things, like carpet, hardwood floors, driveway, grass, etc that I had to miss unfortunately, but the video still turned out awesome. This is just a small portion of all the footage. Special thanks to everyone who let me film them, I had a blast. There are some really awesome people in this video. I also thank the people at the McNaughton Homes office for giving me permission to do this. Next summer I plan on making another documentary like this, but better. If you have any suggestions, let me know 🙂

26-01-2012 14:20 albuquerque firefighters have been working on the fire at the apartment complex for about 7 hours now. we've learned the vacant complex has a troubled history. our heather mills was out there all morning long... and joins us live from atrisco and iliff. as you can see -- the fire is now out.. but crews are still monitoring the building for hot spots. minute thumbnail 12:00 pm i just got an update from afd... they tell me power crews are restoring power to the 40 homes that were affected. "It's a heartbreaking loss, to say the least." FLAMES WERE shooting from the roof of this apartment complex -- and within minutes, two of the four building were on fire. as the flames spread.. chuck sheldon watched in DISAPPOINTMENT. "We just completed the construction on building one that's burned down, and building two." FORMERLY "western palisades" this complex has had many problems in the past.. the city even red-tagged it two years ago. sheldon bought the property.. and was working with the city on re-construction. he says they were planning to re-open in may. "You know you take something out of jist, mis-treated, and create something that people can really enjoy." "We've changed the name to the Phoenix, and maybe rightly so, since now it will come out of the ashes."
