The sale covers the companys Low-Emissive glass window options and comes just as homeowners think about their home projects for Spring. According to Beth, We take our commitment to providing energy effective windows very seriously and the Low-E treated windows are excellent for anyone who wants to both save on energy costs and protect their valuable belongings from the effects of sunlight.
Low-Emissive or Low-E glass is window glass that has been treated with an invisible metal or metallic oxide coating. This coating creates a surface that reflects the UVs but that allows light to pass through. The result is lower energy consumption and increased comfort inside the home. Homeowners will also love the fact that the Low-E coated windows decrease the amount of fading of furniture and window treatments.
Throughout March, Better Windows by Beth is inviting customers to come in and investigate the Low-E windows and take advantage of the March sale to add something special and functional to their homes while saving money on their heating & cooling costs.
Better Windows by Beth is well known for their selection of energy efficient windows and doors and the re-introduction of Low-E windows illustrated their commitment to bringing clients the best and most recent types of window options. We pride ourselves on being a leader in supplying the most energy efficient doors and windows, said a company spokesperson. We encourage all of our customers to consider replacing their windows with more energy efficient options and we want to facilitate that decision with this current sale.
Better Windows by Beth specializes in entry doors, patio doors, window replacement, storm doors and windows and bay and garden windows. Their work is performed by experts, not subcontractors who have years of experience in doors and window installation and clients can expect a quality job that gives them not only an aesthetically pleasing door or window but also a pleasant experience.
The Better Windows by Beth showroom is open Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturdays by appointment only. Those who want to learn more about Better Windows by Beth can visit the companys website or call 703.327.1200 to speak with a company representative. The Monmouth County Historical Commission awarded preservation grants recently for 13 restoration projects that totaled $64,411.
The 2014 preservation grant recipients include:
Battleground Historical Society (Englishtown), Village Inn porch roof restoration, $4,000;
Friends of Monmouth Battlefield (Freehold), Craig House window replacement, $2,915;
Old Tennent Church (Manalapan), restoration of exterior doors, $4,357;
Friends of Millstone Historic Properties (Millstone Township), Baird House roof repair, $5,000.
Most people are not simply satisfied to read about Monmouth Countys history, they want to experience history and visit our many sites, said Freeholder Lillian G. Burry, liaison to the county historical commission. I am proud to say the county strives to preserve historic structures that help remind us we must treasure and remember our roots and the people who built our communities.
According to a press release, the historical commission is dedicated to preserving the past and creating a living history. The types of projects eligible for funding are preservation, restoration or rehabilitation of historic structures, usually 50 years or older, and which are accessible to the public. The program covers essentially structural work for projects, commonly known as bricks and mortar undertakings.
The Monmouth County Historical Commission was created by the Board of Freeholders in 1988 for the preservation and conservation of Monmouth County history. Its principal program is the preservation grants, an undertaking that recognizes the acute need for funds to preserve Monmouth Countys rich and diverse historic legacy.
The commission grants matching funds on a competitive basis to municipalities and nonprofit organizations needing financial help in the preservation or restoration of historic structures.

Heating and air repair company, Bardi Heating Cooling and Plumbing has expanded their technical staff to serve the growing needs of its five-county service area. The technicians, Johnathon Ward, Alex Bond and Corey Davis, increase the growing Bardi staff to nearly 80 employees. The new technicians agree that joining a company where its own employees voted it as an "AJC Top Workplace" three years running was an appealing factor in working for Bardi. The technicians started with the company on March 3, 2014.
The technicians will be responsible for installing new furnaces and air conditioners and additional HVAC accessories including germicidal UV lights, whole home media filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers and programmable digital thermostats. Technicians also perform emergency services, inspections and planned maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Bardis technicians are certified by the North American Technician Excellence (NATE). The HVAC company conducts thorough background checks and ensures all employees are drug-free, including abstaining from cigarette smoke. In fact, Bardi was one the first heating and air conditioning contractor to become a certified Drug-Free Work Place (DFWP) in the state of Georgia.
Expanding our technician team allows us to quickly respond to both emergencies and scheduled maintenance appointments, and accommodate homeowners during service calls so they never feel rushed, said Gresham Ard, Residential General Manager at Bardi. We look forward to expanding our services and providing our customers with timely installations, repairs and inspections.
Bardi Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is a family-owned HVAC and plumbing company in Atlanta. Founded in 1989 by Alex and Susan Bardi, the company has been providing the Atlanta area with quality HVAC services for almost 25 years. Bardi also offers plumbing repairs and services, and is home to an experienced management team as well as an outstanding team of NATE certified technicians, whose number one priority is to keep their customers satisfied by always, always, always doing the right thing. Bardi provides free electronics pick-up and recycling on all service calls benefiting Nobis Works. For more information about furnace repair, visit bardi.com or call 770-263-5355.

We are strongly opposed to price goughing and think it is very bad business to take advantage of people. We will always, and have always, given our customers a fair price.
KRFC Design Center is a family owned and operated company that offers its customers personal attention where youre a name, not just a number. We are located on River Ave. (Rt. 9) on the Toms River/Lakewood border in New Jersey just North of Rt. 70. We are located in the UEZ tax zone which allows us to charge a reduced tax rate of 3.5%.
Our showroom provides our customers with the opportunity to select all their kitchen and bath needs in one place. This is a wonderful opportunity in todays busy world.
We offer total remodeling. All you have to do is pick your colors and we do the rest! If you like to be more hands on, we will do as much or as little as you prefer.
We offer a wide array of kitchen & bath products. Cabinets, counter tops, hardware, backsplashes, faucets, appliances, fixtures, and many choices of flooring.
Quality Customer service seems to be going extinct
Unfortunately, bad service is common, good service in infrequent, and jaw-dropping service is so rare it is legendary.

LOWELL -- The Lowell Housing Authority board recently voted to award a combined $1.8 million to private contractors as a result of a public-bidding process for three construction projects.
The contracts will pay for kitchen and bath renovations at two different developments and roof work at a third.
The LHA will fund the work with fiscal 2012 capital funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to Chief Financial Officer Adam Garvey.
The LHA turned to a public-bidding process after HUD last year banned the LHA from using $2.2 million in unobligated 2012 capital funds on "force account" projects. Force account is when housing authorities use their own employees and no-bid union labor to perform work.
The LHA board voted at a special meeting last month to award the three contracts.
Charters Brothers Construction of Danville, N.H., was awarded $862,900 contract for kitchen and bathroom modernization work in 16 units at the George Flanagan Development.
The cost of the contract was within 1 percent of the independent cost estimate for the work, and Charters Brothers was the lowest of two bidders. The other bidder was Quality Contracting of Worcester.
Stallion Builders of Nashua, N.H., was awarded a $709,480 contract to provide kitchen and bathroom renovations in 24 units at the Francis Gatehouse development. Stallion Builders was the lowest of four bidders for the work and its proposal came more than $300,000 below the LHA's independent cost estimate for the work.
The other bidders were L&H Construction of Medford, Quality Contracting and Stutman Contracting of Oxford.
LHA Commissioner Tim Green asked if the contractors would pull permits while conducting the work, and LHA Executive Director Gary Wallace responded that they would pull all applicable permits.
