Bothell, Wash. (PRWEB) February 24, 2014
EagleView Technologies, Inc., a leading technology provider of aerial imagery, data analytics and GIS solutions, will be presenting new products including an upcoming GutterReport and the recently released QuickSquares Report at the 2014 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas, NV, February 26-28, 2014 in booth 763.
EagleView continues to work closely with roofing contractors in developing tools that drive business. Releasing in late March 2014, EagleView will offer contractors the GutterReport, an EagleView measurement report designed specifically to help with the sales, marketing and installation of gutter systems.
The GutterReport will be delivered on average within 24 hours to provide contractors the immediacy that their customers want while giving the contractor confidence that their estimate will be on target due to the technology of EagleView. The report offers a professional presentation including a customized cover page, color photos of the property, eave measurements, downspout and miter corner count, as well as total number of stories by direction.
"We are committed to developing tools that not only save the contractor time but also position their business and employees as innovative business practitioners," stated Rishi Daga, EVP Commercial Sales for EagleView Technologies. "EagleView measurement reports have revolutionized how contractors not only gain accurate structural and roof measurements but how they deliver extraordinary service to their customers."
GutterReport will be previewed in the EagleView booth during the International Roofing Expo along with QuickSquares, another new product from EagleView that was launched in December of 2013. "The QuickSquares report provides roofing contractors the total squares and predominant pitch, both of which are needed to quickly prepare an estimate for a residential roofing project," continued Daga. "The report is delivered on average in about an hour so the contractor can be the first to deliver an estimate to the homeowner. Contractors are seeing great success with this product across the country."

Even though not all the snow has melted, the Edwardsville Public Services Committee approved the next big street project at its recent meeting.
The committee OK'd a local approval agency agreement for federal participation for the West Union Street Project in an amount not to exceed $352,262.
According to City Engineer Eric Williams, this local agency agreement with the department of transportation is for the federal highway funds for the resurfacing of West Union Street.
"Currently the project's estimated construction cost is at $766,000, which leaves the balance at $352,265. The good news is the Madison County Board, at their Jan. 4 meeting, agreed to participate in the amount of $159,250 to match our local share through the county local matching tax fund that leaves the city a construction balance of approximately $193,000," Williams said.
Right now, the Public Works Department is working to obtain all of the necessary easements needed before the project can go out for bid.
City Administrator Tim Harr wanted to know how much of the sidewalks in the area does this contract include.
"It's a substantial portion of it. It's not 100 percent. Some of it has been replaced in recent years," Williams said.
Because of the amount of resurfacing that has taken place on the street, some of the curbs there are not as high as they should be and Public Services Chairman Barb Stamer asked if that will be addressed.
Williams answered that most of the curbs will be replaced and returned to the established height.
Right now, the city is in line for bid letting on April 25, with construction beginning approximately 30 days after. If the project is not bid, the next time it could be bid is June 13.

The City of Del Mar is investing nearly $1 million to enhance pedestrian accessibility through the installation of sidewalks, repair streets, and improve drainage in the Beach Colony area between 22nd Street and the San Dieguito River.
Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2014. The project, which is part of an effort to improve sidewalk connectivity City-wide over the next several years, includes construction of curb, gutter, and sidewalks on both sides of Camino del Mar, 20 pedestrian ramps, pavement rehabilitation, and landscape planting areas.
Additionally, underground storm drain infrastructure will be constructed on the east side of Camino del Mar at 27th Street. Groundbreaking will occur in March, with completion scheduled by Memorial Day.
The cost for this community investment is estimated to be $963,000, paid for using a portion of the Citys share of revenues from TransNet, the County-wide, voter-approved half-cent sales tax that can only be used for local transportation projects.
The project design is consistent with the Camino del Mar Streetscape Plan established in 1996, as well as the Citys Community Plan goal to emphasize a pedestrian-oriented environment. The City has a multi-year capital improvement program to construct sidewalks along corridors with high pedestrian volumes and no sidewalks. This segment of Camino del Mar was prioritized because it is heavily traveled by pedestrians and there are drainage issues that need to be improved. Future planned projects include other segments of Camino del Mar and Jimmy Durante Boulevard.
The City of Del Mar will host an open house on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Powerhouse Community Center, located at 1658 Coast Boulevard in Del Mar, to provide information and answer questions about the project.
For information on the open house or the project, contact Assistant Planner Katie Benson at (858) 755-9313.

ROUND LAKE The village of Round Lake has announced that construction will soon begin on roadway and stormwater drainage improvements on Hart Road and Sunset Drive. This project will include roadway widening on Hart Road as well as improvements to this congested corridor that is lined with industrial businesses and the transportation facilities for Round Lake Area School District 116, Round Lake High School and Middle School, accoring to a news release from the village.
The improvements will reduce traffic congestion along the Hart Road corridor and at the Cedar Lake Road intersection, and improve safety conditions for pedestrians and students attending John T. Magee Middle School and Round Lake High School. The inclusion of a new storm sewer on both Hart Road and Sunset Drive will mitigate flooding issues and enhance this important business corridor of the community.
The project limits of construction will be from Hart Road beginning at the Metra railroad tracks and continue east to Cedar Lake Road and Sunset Road at the intersection of Hart Road and continue north to West Long Lake Drive. All work is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2014.
Improvements will include: roadway widening and reconstruction of Hart Road and resurfacing of Sunset Drive; traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of Hart Road and Cedar Lake Road; drainage improvements including a new storm sewer (Hart Rd and Sunset Drive); and installation of curb, gutter and new sidewalks with ADA ramps.
The Federal Surgace Transportation Program is funding 70 percent of this $47 million improvement project. Local funding is being used by the village of Round Lake for the remaining 30 percent.
The public is invited to obtain the latest project information and sign up to receive regular construction updates through the project website at http://www.HartRoadConstruction.com.
