TOLEDO -- Remember the good old days in 2009 when gas wasamere$1.84? For onemorning only on Nov. 5, the New American Engergy Opportunity Foundation will give the first 100 people 15 gallons of gas for this steal of a price.
The event lasts from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at True North Shell Station at 4581 Monroe St. According to the news release, the first people in line starting at 7 a.m. will be able to participate in the rollback price.
Joe Wurzelbacher, Republican Congressional candidate for the 9th district, will be pumping gas at the event.
"The President and Marcy Kaptur have failed us on energy. They come up with excuse after excuse as to why we cannot tap into our available domestic resources," Wurzelbacher said in a statement."At the last Congressional debate, Marcy even offered the ridiculous that future generations might want to use those resources too! Well Marcy, right here in the present, working class families are suffering every time they go to the pump and try to make ends meet. No more excuses. We need energy reform today, and I look forward to helping 100 Ohio families access affordable energy on Monday morning."
