In a Permanent Save State - Android Rerelease Trailer [Unaltered From Pre-Removal]
Android. November 12, 2012. A month from original Apple removal. A cerebral, fantasy driven application about events that are true and currently exist. In a Permanent Save State is a game that falls into the evolving category of #39;serious games #39; or if you will #39;games for change #39;. The interconnected narrative it tells sheds nameless perspective upon the Western spectacle vs. the Eastern dream. Furthermore, has a root in cultural truisms which define the aesthetic and faith for those involved. There is an effort to deconstruct the idea of where the games we cherish #39;come from #39; and an effort to deconstruct the video game form itself. Those who assemble the dreams of this world now have their own at a devastating cost. Warehouse 1Q sales rise 1.9% as stationery leads growth - November 5, 2012 by Mr HomeBuilder

Nov. 5 (BusinessDesk) - Warehouse Group, the country's biggest listed retailer, boosted first-quarter sales 1.9 percent with its Blue Shed stationery stores leading growth as its Red Sheds reported a flat result.

Group sales rose to $377.3 million in the three months ended Oct. 28, from $370.4 million in the same period a year earlier, the Auckland-based company said in a statement. Sales at its Red Shed stores edged up 0.8 percent to $325.7 million and were flat on a same-store basis, while the stationery outlets' revenue climbed 9.1 percent to $51.6 million. The Blue Sheds' sales rose 3.7 percent on a same-store basis.

"While same store sales in September and October were lower than the prior corresponding months, largely due to the cycling against the Rugby World Cup, the Warehouse sales performance in August was very strong and we are set up very well to enter the important second quarter," chief executive Mark Powell said.

"I am confident that our decision to remove some of our home appliance and whiteware products from sale, while having a short-term impact, is clear evidence of the Warehouse putting the customer first which will benefit overall brand perception in the long-term," he said.

In September, the retailer reported a 14 percent drop in full-year earnings to $65.2 million, in line with guidance, and flagged mixed trading conditions for the 2013 year.

Warehouse reported a 138 percent lift in sales through online channels, and last month launched its own web-based promotions.

Chairman Graham Evans said the quarter was a mixed one, but the board still backs the company's strategy will deliver value to shareholders.

The shares rose 0.3 percent to $3.12 in trading on Friday, and have gained 4 percent this year.

Residents urged to check their sheds for missing hospital patient - November 5, 2012 by Mr HomeBuilder

Residents urged to check their sheds for missing hospital patient

6:03pm Sunday 4th November 2012 in News By Mike Laycock, Chief reporter

HOUSEHOLDERS were urged tonight to check their garages, garden sheds and outbuildings for a patient who has gone missing from a North Yorkshire hospital.

Police said they were increasingly concerned for the welfare of Graham Roskell, 65, from Kirk Hammerton, between York and Knaresborough, who was last seen by staff at Harrogate District Hospital - where he was receiving treatment - at around 7.30am yesterday.

Officers have been conducting extensive searches but he has still not been found.

Inspector Bruce Prendergast said: "He may have taken shelter somewhere as the night drew in and I would urge everyone to take a few minutes to check their outbuildings and help us with our search.

"We don't want Mr Roskell to spend another night out in the open, therefore it is vital that anyone with any information, no matter how small, contacts the police as soon as possible."

Mr Roskell is white, with a stocky build and short grey hair and, when he was last seen, he was wearing a green patterned jumper, grey trousers and black shoes. It is also believed he had a blue dressing gown with him.

Anyone who can help locate Mr Roskell is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for Harrogate police.

Eastern sheds some rust in exhibition victory – Sun, 04 Nov 2012 PST - November 5, 2012 by Mr HomeBuilder

The new-look Eastern Washington basketball team relied on some old hands Sunday afternoon at Reese Court.

Amid all the fresh faces in the lineup, it fell to senior guards Kevin Winford and Jeffrey Forbes to spark the Eagles to an easy 96-70 exhibition win over NAIA Concordia.

It didnt start easily the visitors from Portland, playing their fourth game of the season and fresh off a three-point loss to Portland State, led by a point halfway through the first half. But the Eagles outclassed the Crusaders the rest of the way in their first game of the season.

I just keep the locker room optimistic and positive, said Winford, who finished with 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting and had seven assists. They look up to us, and they listen to us.

Several hundred fans got a free look at an Eastern team that includes 10 players whove never played for the Eagles before. That included forward Venky Jois, a 6-foot-7 Australian who showed good athleticism en route to eight points and 10 rebounds; Oregon transfer Martin Seiferth, a 6-10 post who added 11 points and 10 boards; and point guard Justin Crosgile, a transfer from Saint Josephs who had a game-high eight assists.

Still, the Eagles needed 10 minutes to overcome a sloppy start. Concordia led by as many as four points early in the game and 19-18 with 10:20 left in the first half, but Winford took over the game before intermission, scoring seven straight points as Eastern stretched a two-point lead to nine.

Eastern outscored Concordia 29-7 the rest of the first half to take control.
