Each company submitted a letter or audited statement from their CPA to verify their total volume of sales.
Durante Home Exteriors was ranked 141 on the QR 2013 Top 500. This special recognition is a sign of financial soundness as a company and quality of installation of their Replacement Windows and Doors, Siding, Decking and Sunrooms.

The son of Australia's richest person Gina Rinehart, who is embroiled in a family feud, has withdrawn his bid to head a family trust for "the sake of family harmony", reports said Wednesday.
The feud has been simmering since 2011, with son John Hancock siding with his sister Bianca Rinehart against their mother for control of the multi-billion dollar trust.
At the centre of the dispute is the trust set up by the late mining magnate Lang Hancock in 1988 with his four grandchildren as the beneficiaries.
His daughter Gina Rinehart was to run the trust, which holds a 23.4 percent share of her iron ore company Hancock Prospecting, until the youngest grandchild turned 25 in 2011.
But just days before this date Gina Rinehart allegedly sought to delay the payout until 2068, saying it would avoid a huge capital gains tax bill.
The move prompted Hancock and sisters Bianca Rinehart and Hope Rinehart Welker to take court action, although Hope Rinehart Welker later withdrew from the case.
Earlier this month Gina Rinehart said she planned to relinquish control of the trust, and her son had appeared keen to replace her.
But Sydney's Supreme Court heard Wednesday that John Hancock had withdrawn his application to become head of the family trust in favour of his sister Bianca, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
"I made the decision last night to ask Bianca to nominate as replacement trustee," he said in a statement. "I also decided to stand down as replacement, in the interests of family harmony, and support Bianca's nomination."
Lawyers for the youngest sister Ginia Rinehart reportedly objected to the proposal, saying if Bianca was to be trustee, it should have been mentioned months ago.

WILLIAMSBURG
City Council will take up two issues related to vision at its October meeting next week.
The first deals with what Williamsburg will look like in the future. Council will consider a comprehensive rewrite of the city's Design Review Guidelines, the rules the Architectural Review Board uses to determine what can and can't be built in various parts of the city.
As a general rule, the parts of the city closest to Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area have the tightest guidelines, with wooden siding and replacement windows mandated.
This year, the guidelines relax the standards for two areas in relative proximity to downtown. Crispus Attucks Estates, off Lafayette Street, has been moved to a less restrictive district to reflect the fact that the homes there are not that old.
"We thought they should have a greater mix of products to choose from," assistant planning director Carolyn Murphy explained to the Planning Commission last month.
Planners approved the new guidelines on a 6-1 vote. Sarah Stafford voted no, saying she thought the guidelines set stricter standards than those used for homes already in some districts.
The Art's District, adjacent to Crispus Attucks and running from Lafayette Street to Casey Field, was also put in a less restrictive district.
The idea there was to encourage creativity in the district, which although mostly made up of residential buildings, has been targeted for certain types of businesses which might require re-modeling buildings.
In addition to rules about siding, windows, whether shutters are required to be functional and other style points, the design review guidelines contain a new color palette for businesses and residences to comply with.

Dear EarthTalk: Im planning a major home renovation and want to include as many green-friendly features as possible. Where do I begin to look?Matthew Glaser, Queens, N.Y.
There has never been a better time to renovate green, given the abundance of Earth-friendly building material choices as well as contractors well-versed in energy- and resource-efficiency. Many homeowners dont realize that they can save money in the long run, despite the up front costs, by choosing materials and strategies that will lower utility bills and reduce maintenance and replacement costs moving forward.
For starters, look for building materials that contain post-consumer or post-industrial recycled content that can be easily recycled later. Also, make sure the materials are sustainably sourcedsuch as wood certified as sustainably harvested by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). And try to minimize the distance any building materials need to travel to help reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions.
In areas of the renovation that are not a complete tear-down and re-build, tighten things up by plugging holes, patching or replacing roofing or siding as needed and adding weather-stripping around doors and windows. Also, switch out older single-pane windows with more efficient modern double or triple pane styles. This can pay for itself in energy savings within just a few years while improving comfort. Also replace or add insulation to walls, attics and other spaces to keep heat inside and cold out (and vice-versa). And you can save lots of energy by swapping out old appliances with newer models that qualify for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agencys EnergyStar label. Such appliances must be 20-30 percent more energy efficient than standard models, and will reduce not only your carbon footprint but also utility bills.

Such appliances 20 to 30 percent more energy-efficient than standard models will reduce not only your carbon footprint but also utility bills. For guidance on how to renovate as sustainably as possible, check out the U.S. Green Building Councils Green Home Guide (greenhomeguide.com/program/leed-for-homes), a free online resource that bases its recommendations on its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED, guidelines for certifying green buildings. At this site, you can ask an experienced contractor questions on sustainable materials and techniques or find nearby green home professionals qualified for larger green renovation jobs. Another valuable resource is the REGREEN website (www.greendepot.com). This joint project of the American Society of Interior Designers and the U.S. Green Building Council offers case studies for green remodeling projects, interactive tools and basic guidelines written so even do-it-yourselfers can understand. A REGREEN Strategy Generator widget can provide tailored tactics for specific green remodeling projects. For example, if you enter the parameters bathroom and water efficiency, the widget might suggest the installation of faucet aerators and low-use showerheads. Talking over projects and options with a design professional at a retail green building supply store like Green Depot, with locations in 10 states, can also help you source cutting-edge materials that will save energy and money in the long run. Green Building Supply (www.greenbuildingsupply.com), which offers an extensive free online learning center, will ship a wide range of green building materials anywhere in the U.S.
