What are lucky, unlucky directions for 2015?

MANILA, Philippines - As 2015 approaches, feng shui expert Hanz Cua gave his views on what are the lucky and unlucky directions for your home or office in the coming year.

In an interview with ANC's Headstart, Cua said one should use a compass in the center of your home to determine which direction is which.

"Stand at the center of your home and locate saan ang north direction or south... And imaginarily grid the home kung saan ang sector," he said.

This is important so one can figure out how to place your furniture depending on the lucky and unlucky directions for 2015. He said every year, the furniture and lucky charms should be moved around the house.

Cua noted the north, where the prosperity-generating star will be flying, is the number one luckiest direction for 2015.

"If your home is in the north, put your TV, phone, anything with loud music or may activity there. Putting water or metal objects on the north would enhance the prosperity for 2015," he said.

Another lucky direction for 2015 is northeast.

"Ang northeast is pag-lagayan ng prayers or mga santo to enhance your blessings. Stay on the northeast direction when praying kasi diyan uupo ang spirits na tutulong sa yo," Cua said.

For singles and couples, Cua said northwest is considered one of the love sectors for 2015.

"If you're single or you want to enhance your relationships, make sure to sleep in the northwest part of your home. This will strengthen the love and bonding... If you want to pass your exams, make sure you study on the northwest part of your home, it will enhance your study luck star this year," he said.
