Several clients are sprucing up their facilities with improvements and renovations to ring in the New Year. Bostons Gilbane Building Company is managing construction on the following projects within city limits.

700 Atlantic Avenue A multi-phased renovation at Bostons busy South Station impacts approximately 50,000 SF and includes an office fit-out for Amtrak employees, a new common corridor and restrooms. The project also includes coordination of concrete demolition, structural steel delivery and installation, construction of new restrooms in the main lobby, and prep work for the installation of two parallel escalators and two elevators between South Station and the first floor and CVS on the second floor.

226 Causeway Street Construction is underway for the fit-out of 16,000 SF for Stantecs Boston office location on the 6th floor at 226 Causeway Street. The project includes a one-of-a kind reception area with bamboo carved walls, felted wool walls & panels (Filzfelt) and bamboo flooring. The newly designed office also has several conference rooms, breakout areas, a mothers room, pantry and kitchen.

177 Huntington Avenue - Project encompasses about 10,000 SF of renovations for an affiliate of Beacon Capital Partners, LLC including lobby, coffee bar, flooring, security desk, and main entrance with a new glass entry canopy with revolving door. Scope of work includes minor fire protection work and removal of pavers from the Main Lobby and Basement Lobby and replacing with new tile finishes. All work is being completed while the building remains open to the public.

25 Thompson Place - Preconstruction and construction management services are in progress for lobby renovations at Crosspoint Associates that comprise of the complete demolition and build out of the first floor entrance including new flooring, ADA Lift, Lobby finishes, locker room, and minor MEP reconfigurations.
