Eversource offers energy efficiency tips

After a long, snowy and brutally cold winter in Connecticut, spring is finally here and many people have started making their annual spring cleaning to-do lists. Eversource Energy is encouraging customers to combine money-saving, energy-efficiency measures with their seasonal chores.

While many customers are still cleaning up from all the snow we received in New England this winter, I am also reminding them that spring is the perfect time to make homes more energy efficient, says Enoch Lenge, Energy Efficiency Spokesperson at Eversource. The first and easiest thing to do, now that daylight savings time is here, is to pull back the drapes and take advantage of the longer days to warm up a room and keep energy use down.

Eversource Energy is the new name of the former Yankee Gas and Connecticut Light and Power.
