Johns Refrigeration Acquires Rm-air, Inc.

Andrew John, owner of Johns Refrigeration Heating and Cooling, is proud to announce the expansion of the company with the recent acquisition of another locally owned HVAC business: Rm-air, Inc., of Mesa, AZ. Johns has been a family owned business operating in the Phoenix, AZ metro area since 1970.

Rm-Air, in business since 1983, was also a second generation, family owned business like Johns. After 32 years of servicing his customers air conditioning and heating needs, Rm-airs owner, Steven Ransom, decided to retire and sell his business. Before making this difficult decision, I searched for a company with similar values: honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and trust, says Ransom. He found what he was looking for in Johns. Andrew and I consider this a mutually beneficial union that also allows both Rm-Airs and Johns customers to benefit from the long-time expertise and stellar reputation that both our companies have.

Since both Johns and Rm-Air are APS and SRP Certified and Qualified Contractors, this merger has many opportunities for all current Rm-Air customers to continue receiving the best deals on new A/C units and repairs on older units. Andrew John looks forward to extending the same Red Carpet Service to Rm-Airs customers as they do to their own customers.

Name brand heating and cooling units, including American Standard, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, and Amana, are both installed and repaired by Johns, as well as the new Johns brand the company rolled out a few months ago. Johns also offers air purifying services, ductwork inspections, and other various repair and maintenance required on HVAC systems.
