NEW YORK (TheStreet) --Restoration Hardware Holdings (RH - Get Report) shares are rising in after-hours trading today after the home furnishings retailer reported its fourth quarter fiscal results after the closing bell Thursday.
The Corte Madera, CA-based company reported a 19 cent increase in its year over year quarterly EPS, earning $1.02 per share after earning 83 cents per share during the same period last year. Net revenues for the period increased 24% this year after increasing 18% last year to$582.7 million.
Analysts on average were expecting the company to report fourth quarter earnings of $1.01 per diluted share on revenue of $582.5 million.
"While we have been negatively impacted by the West Coast port disruption in the first quarter of this year, we believe at this point, most of the revenue and earnings not recorded in the first quarter of fiscal 2015 should shift forward and have a positive effect on the second quarter," said CEOGary Friedman.
TheStreet Ratings team rates RESTORATION HARDWARE HLDNGS as a Buy with a ratings score of B-. TheStreet Ratings Team has this to say about their recommendation:
"We rate RESTORATION HARDWARE HLDNGS (RH) a BUY. This is driven by some important positives, which we believe should have a greater impact than any weaknesses, and should give investors a better performance opportunity than most stocks we cover. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, impressive record of earnings per share growth, compelling growth in net income, good cash flow from operations and expanding profit margins. Although no company is perfect, currently we do not see any significant weaknesses which are likely to detract from the generally positive outlook."
Highlights from the analysis by TheStreet Ratings Team goes as follows:

TANEGASHIMA, KAGOSHIMA PREF. A rocket blasted off successfully Thursday morning carrying a backup optical satellite for the governments intelligence gathering program.
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. launched the H-IIA rocket at 10:21 a.m. from the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture.
The satellite is described as an advanced ground-monitoring device. Currently, Japan has two radar satellites and two optical satellites in operation, which are able to collect images of any point on the ground at least once a day.
The latest satellite will replace one of the two optical satellites, which was launched in 2009.
The device was developed at a cost of 32.5 billion, according to the Cabinet Satellite Intelligence Center.
The images and related information obtained by the satellite will not be publicly released as they are designated as state secrets under a law that took effect last year.

"I have been thinking [that] for a long time," Prayut pointed at his head and replied when asked whether the Cabinet meeting in Prachuab Kiri Khan's Hua Hin today would consider the replacement of martial law with other laws.
A source said that Prayut and other members of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), of which he is the head, were thinking of replacing martial law with either Emergency decree, the Internal Security Act, including Article 44 of the Provisional Constitution, which gives the NCPO head "absolute power".
Asked if Article 44 was an option, he smiled and said: "I'm thinking. We will try our best to make officials comfortable when doing their duties."
He said the measure in the new law would be equal to martial law so that the people will know that the NCPO did not fully enforce it.
Prayut appeared to be in a good mood after returning from a trip to Brunei. Before he left Thailand on Wednesday, he appeared tense and angry with the media.
Article 44 gives the NCPO leader "absolute power" to issue any order "for the sake of reforms in any field, the promotion of unity and harmony amongst the people of the nation, or the prevention, abatement or suppression of any act detrimental to national order or security, royal throne, national economy or public administration, whether the act occurs inside or outside the Kingdom".
Orders that are so issued are all deemed "lawful, constitutional and final".
Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees security affairs, admitted that the legal team of the NCPO was drafting a new law to replace martial law.
He said the drafting would include writing a new law and adjusting the current security law.
"We are trying to reduce pressure. The United Nations asked us to [find a new law]. I didn't set the deadline [for the completion of the draft] because it will not trouble anyone. We now enforce only summons, arrests and searches [of the martial law]," he said.

What's big in 2015 is an area of your home that is actually very, very small. Fabulous and functional laundry rooms are hot right now. Makeover what you have, or create a dedicated space out of a few square feet of your home. The important thing is that your laundry room should be a pleasant place to work at an often unpleasant chore.
Creating a Laundry Room
All you need is a teeny slice of space to build a beautiful laundry. Steal an extra powder room or even an unused corner of a bedroom or mudroom, if you have to. By the way, the opposite is possible, too -- if you are short on ahem facilities in your home, add an extra toilet (and a door latch) to your laundry room.
If you are simply revamping your existing laundry room, it's a very doable DIY project. The moment you start thinking about adding a laundry sink or moving fixtures, pipes, and appliances out of their former configuration, however, you are going to need a good remodeling plumber.
Your Washer and Dryer
"Tuck them away," proclaims one school of thought. Conceal your washing machine and dryer behind charmingly patterned fabric (which complements the curtains at your window, if you're lucky enough to have one in your laundry room) or inexpensive IKEA cabinet doors, stained or painted to your taste. "Put them on display," advise others. Today's laundry machines are handsome enough to show off, in sleek stainless steel, candy apple red, or luxe black. Is a new washer not in your budget right now? Rev up the one you already own with a coat of paint and some sealant. Stack the washer and dryer to clear out much-needed space, but check first with the manufacturer to make sure it's okay.
The "Other" Basics
In addition to your washer and dryer, there are a few other "must haves" that you'll need to make up a functional laundry room. Those are a sink for hand washing and spot treatments, good task lighting, a laundry basket or two, storage shelves, plus space for hanging delicates. Additional handy accessories: a folding counter (much easier on your back than folding on a bed); wall hooks; an ironing board; and an upright cupboard for stashing brooms, mops, and the like. A laundry chute or hamper on wheels will help you deal with one of the most complicated aspects of home laundry -- actually getting the dirty clothes to the laundry room, rather than the bedroom floors.

Andrew CK Sakala Jr. was fatally electrocuted on a roofing job at a Tarentum, Pa., home in September 2014 when the aluminum ladder he was using came into contact with a 7,200-volt power line.
According to OSHA, Sakalas employer, Kolek Woodshop Inc., showed a blatant disregard for worker safety when three days later, the employer sent another worker to finish the job, exposing him to the same hazardous conditions that led to Sakalas death.
The blatant disregard for worker safety demonstrated is horrifying and completely despicable. This companys failure to implement basic safeguards resulted in tragedy, said Christopher Robinson, director of OSHAs Pittsburgh Area Office. Koleks willingness to expose another persons life to the same dangers just 72 hours after the first fatality is alarming. Employers must provide a safe and healthful workplace, and OSHA will hold them accountable if they do not.
OSHA cited Kolek Woodshop Inc. of Creighton, Pa., for willfully exposing the second worker to preventable electrical hazards. OSHA identified one alleged willful violation because Kolek exposed the second employee to the same hazards after the fatality. A willful violation is one committed with intentional, knowing or voluntary disregard for the laws requirement, or with plain indifference to employee safety and health. The company also failed to report the fatality to OSHA.
OSHA investigators determined that the employer provided workers with a ladder without nonconductive side rails. The ladder then contacted power lines, which resulted in the fatality. They also concluded that the company erected an aluminum scaffold too close to a 7,200-volt power line; exposed roofing workers removing shingles to fall hazards; and failed to train employees. These conditions resulted in four alleged serious violations. A serious violation occurs when there is substantial probability that death or serious physical harm could result from a hazard about which the employer knew or should have known.
Kolek faces penalties of $67,900 and has 15 business days from receipt of its citations and proposed penalties to comply, meet informally with Robinson or contest the findings before the independent Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.

March 26, 2015 - Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) New York Liberty NEW YORK, NY - March 26, 2015 - The New York Liberty announced today that the team has named Herb Williams and Katie Smith assistant coaches, and Teresa Weatherspoon director of player development. Per team policy, terms of the deals will not be disclosed.
"In her first season, Katie showed that she has the leadership and communication skills required to be an excellent coach, and I expect her to contribute even more this year," said Liberty Head Coach Bill Laimbeer. " Herb will have instant credibility with our players, and his extensive bench experience will be invaluable to our team. When he told me that he would be interested in the job, it was a no brainer to bring him on our staff."
"As a player, T-Spoon was legendary for her work ethic and constant dedication to improvement," said Kristin Bernert, Senior Vice President of Business and Basketball Operations, New York Liberty . "She will lead our efforts in making our players the best they can be both on and off of the court, with a primary focus on skill development this season"
Williams returns to Madison Square Garden after spending 13 seasons as a coach for the New York Knicks (2001-2014), which marked the longest tenure of any on-the-bench assistant coach in franchise history. He first joined the Knicks' staff as an assistant on Dec. 29, 2001, and on two occasions, took the helm as the head coach. The Ohio State alum played in the NBA for 18 seasons with the Pacers, Mavericks, Knicks, and Raptors, averaging 10.8 points and 5.9 rebounds in 1,102 career games. Williams was a member of the Knicks' 1994 and 1999 Eastern Conference Championship teams and became the oldest Knick to ever appear in a game (41 years, four months, nine days) during Game Five of the 1999 NBA Finals against San Antonio. On Feb. 20, 2012, he proudly accepted the distinguished Dick McGuire Knickerbocker Legacy Award.
Smith returns to the Liberty for her second season as an assistant coach. A 14-year WNBA veteran, Smith played on four different teams (Detroit, Minnesota, Washington, Seattle) before spending her final season with the Liberty. Appearing in 448 career games, Smith averaged 13.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. Smith is the all-time leading scorer in women's professional basketball, having notched over 7,000 points in both her American Basketball League and WNBA career. The Ohio State graduate holds the distinction of being the first female Buckeye athlete to have her number retired and is an Olympic gold medalist, winning gold three times with Team USA in 2000, 2004 and 2008.
A Liberty legend, Weatherspoon joined the team in the WNBA's inaugural season in 1997, leading the Liberty to the first-ever WNBA Finals. That same year, she became the league's first winner of the Defensive Player of the Year Award, winning again the following year. Following seven seasons with the Liberty, Weatherspoon signed with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2004, retiring at the end of the season. During her time in the league, Weatherspoon started 220 straight games and led the Liberty to four WNBA
Finals appearances in 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2002. Weatherspoon began her coaching career as the head coach of the Westchester Phantoms of the American Basketball Association in 2007. In 2008, she joined the coaching staff of the Lady Techsters of Louisiana Tech, where she was the head coach from 2009-2013. Weatherspoon was elected to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
The New York Liberty will tip off the 2015 regular season on Fri., June 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Madison Square Garden, hosting the Atlanta Dream. Season ticket packages are available by calling 212-465-6073 or by visiting NYLiberty.com.
