Vice Ganda's The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin is the topgrossing entry on Christmas Day, December 25.

This was revealed by Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chair and overall Metro Manila Film Fest head Francis Tolentino earlier today, December 26.

He also revealed that after Praybeyt Benjamin 2, the other topgrossing films are Feng Shui 2, My Big Bossing and Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2.

As of 1 pm today, December 26, the combined box-office gross of the eight official mainstream entries have reached over P180 million.

The other MMFF 2014 entries are Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo; English Only, Please; Muslim Magnum .357; and Shake, Rattle and Roll XV.

Now on its 40th edition, the MMFF will run from December 25 to January 7, 2015.

The head declined to disclose the official box-office figures of the MMFF 2014 entries.

He explained that provincial cinemas brought in P146 million on opening day of the MMFF.

MANILA, Philippines - As 2015 approaches, feng shui expert Hanz Cua gave his views on what are the lucky and unlucky directions for your home or office in the coming year.

In an interview with ANC's Headstart, Cua said one should use a compass in the center of your home to determine which direction is which.

"Stand at the center of your home and locate saan ang north direction or south... And imaginarily grid the home kung saan ang sector," he said.

This is important so one can figure out how to place your furniture depending on the lucky and unlucky directions for 2015. He said every year, the furniture and lucky charms should be moved around the house.

Cua noted the north, where the prosperity-generating star will be flying, is the number one luckiest direction for 2015.

"If your home is in the north, put your TV, phone, anything with loud music or may activity there. Putting water or metal objects on the north would enhance the prosperity for 2015," he said.

Another lucky direction for 2015 is northeast.

"Ang northeast is pag-lagayan ng prayers or mga santo to enhance your blessings. Stay on the northeast direction when praying kasi diyan uupo ang spirits na tutulong sa yo," Cua said.

For singles and couples, Cua said northwest is considered one of the love sectors for 2015.

"If you're single or you want to enhance your relationships, make sure to sleep in the northwest part of your home. This will strengthen the love and bonding... If you want to pass your exams, make sure you study on the northwest part of your home, it will enhance your study luck star this year," he said.

The final seeds of the destruction of John Robertson's leadership of the NSW ALP were sown in the middle of the week before last.

It was then that the opposition leader was handed the 2011 letter of request he signed for a man who had only days earlier taken his place as one of the most reviled figures in Australian history Lindt cafe siege gunman Man Haron Monis.

The office knew the discovery of the letter he signed for Monis in relation to a child custody matter believed to be by a member of his Blacktown electorate staff was political dynamite.

Robertson's instinct was for immediate full public disclosure a view no doubt given weight by the fear the letter could surface with disastrous consequences during the election campaign in early 2015.

His staff also knew that because the letter was sent to the Department of Community Services, the government would eventually become aware of its existence. There really was no choice, they argued.

Besides, releasing the letter would allow Robertson to get on the front foot and announce its existence while explaining what he believed was the entirely routine nature of the document; that it was no more than a local MP's basic courtesy for a constituent. Or so the thinking went.
