Tamra Barney Dishes On Real Housewives Of Orange County Friendships | Home
April 22, 2014 03:37 PM by Megan Thompson
On this season of The Real Housewives Of Orange County wewere introduced toanew housewife, Shannon Beador. This new OC housewife loves her holistic medicine she has an energy specialistandaFeng Shui advisor. Is Shannon Beador just a typical OC housewife or is she a little kooky even for the OC?
Shannon shared a little about her holistic lifestyle when she went out for drinks with Tamra and Heather. Both of the girls were a little shocked when Shannon told them she had crystalsimplantedinto her teeth. Moving your room around so its Feng Shui is one thing, but having crystals surgically implanted into your teethtakes it to a wholenew level.
There were so many questions surrounding thejewels in Shannons teeth, she had to address it in her Bravo blog. When my dentist offered to put jewels inside my crown restorations, I did it. What is interesting is that when I had a thermographer examine me, they typically can tell you which teeth have had root canals. After my exam, he could not detect the root canals that had jewels in them. They are not visible and I cant imagine how they could possibly harm me at all, Shannon wrotein her blog. But most people tweeted that this was way too weird even for an OC housewife. Shannon officially has too much moneyand weirdos in her network, one fan tweeted.
And thenthere was the lemon incident last night. Shannons husband reached into a vase on the table to grab a lemon, but he was quickly scolded. Why?Well because Shannons Feng Shui advisor told her that she must have nine lemons on the table at all times.Dont mess with this housewifes Feng Shui!
Let us know what you think of Shannon Beador so far on this season of The Real Housewives Of Orange County leave us a comment below.

Have you ever walked into a building or home and felt how the space affected how you felt, thought or interacted with those within? Some spaces are just heavy, sad or claustrophobic you cant wait to leave the oppression. Then, you walk into spaces that are so inviting and energizing, you dont want to leave. Your hosts are saying goodnight, but you cant seem to pull away.
There may be spaces/places that you approach and you decide not to even go there but, you dont understand why. Simply speaking, youre experiencing a natural and reciprocal exchange of energy with your environment.
This spring, instead of just dusting things and shaking out the rugs, consider dealing with that energy too. It can be manipulated to restructure its flow, making it possible to clean and harmonize the home at once.
How does the energy feel within your own home? How is it affecting everyone? Is everyone healthy, vibrantly alive, and uplifted in mind and spirit? Look around. Is there clutter? How about dark corners, cramped conditions, or unused areas?
Energy likes order, clarity and gentle curves, as well as cleanliness. How do you begin, though? Whats the process? Perhaps its just tackling clearing out the garage that youve been putting off. And, keep in mind that space clearing and energy work is not deemed womens work, just because it involves cleaning.
Feng Shui has been utilized in architectural design, building out business spaces, factories, shops and warehouses. After all, even an effective production line involves the efficient flow of materials.
The Womens Center for Healing and Transformation, at 71667 Leveson St., Abita Springs, is hosting a workshop to help you get your spring cleaning plan in place. This workshop is a first for the center, and they look forward to women embracing it.
The course is called "Creating Sacred Space," and will be presented by Sharon Vogt, certified Feng Shui consultant and interior designer, on May 3 form 1 to 5 p.m.
Vogt utilized ancient Feng Shui cures and adjustments within the services of the interior design and dcor firm she owned in Metairie.
The areas where we live and work are mirrored, naturally, in the universal rhythms of nature. Its always gratifying to assist individuals in creating environments that support and nurture their particular needs, desires, and overall well-being. Ive seen many empowering changes occur in the lives of those who have applied the options available within Feng Shui principles - most powerfully, with the simple process of Space Clearing," she said.

It's a basic truth about theater: the best plays are those that are both specific and universal, revealing vivid details about individuals or cultures or historical moments, while giving a glimpse of the common thread that connects us to the characters whose lives are unfolding onstage.
The late August Wilson was among the best practitioners of this art. His "Century Cycle," 10 plays spanning a hundred years, one for each decade, is rooted in the larger African-American experience. The plays are filled with fury and frustration, humor and hope, and recount the heartbreak and resilient spirit of a segment of American society. At the same time, the plays are about fathers and daughters, sisters and brothers, husbands and wives, friends and foes. They explore getting ahead in the world, finding something to believe in, making and losing money, finding and losing love, discovering and losing a sense of one's value and purpose.
As such, August Wilson's plays are about everyone.
His Pulitzer-winning Fences, set in the 1950s, captures that sense of universality in a vibrant, emotionally driven production at the Marin Theatre Company. Directed with graceful attention to the connective tissue that binds a family together, Fences tells the story of Troy Maxson. A proud, deeply angry former Negro Leagues baseball player, Troy is at odds with his teenage son, Cory (Eddie Ray Jackson), who's been offered a shot at a college football scholarship.
Troy is one of the great characters of the modern American stage: petty, mean-spirited and unapologetically unlikable one moment, then gentle, generous and loving the next. Played with combustible complexity by Carl Lumbly, Troy is an achingly believable character, whose strengths and flaws are all frustratingly raw and real.
As his wife, Rose, Margo Hall gives one of the great performances of the year. As aware of Troy's flaws as anyone, Rose also sees what's good and beautiful about him, perhaps even more so than he does. Her gradual evolution from help-mate to standalone powerhouse, a progression that unfolds right alongside Troy's staunch, bitter obstinacy, is absolutely amazing to watch.
Some fences, we are told, are built to keep people out, while others are built to keep people in. In Wilson's shimmering masterpiece, he creates a fence that somehow contains all of us at once.

ITHACA, N.Y. Freshman Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Qualifier Kabisa Baughen (Sarasota, Fla.) was crowned the open fences champion and placed second in the intermediate flat championship class to lead Brown equestrian to a third-place team finish at the Ivy Show at Cornell on Saturday.
The Bears saw eight riders pin on the day but finished just four points off the lead, with Dartmouth earning its fourth Ivy Show championship in program history to compliment a team bid to the IHSA National Championship.
After taking just two team points in the single-class open flat, Brown stormed back in the intermediate flat on the strength of point rider Baughen's blue ribbon in 5A and senior Mieke Lynch's (Wilmington, Del.) second place finish in 5B.
Trailing first-place Cornell by three points, Baughen emerged victorious again in open fences 8A to take the championship title, earn high point rider and launch the Bears into first place with 14 points. Baughen earned a call back for the flat championship and rode to a second-place finish, taking the prestige despite no team points being awarded for the flat championship class.
Senior Sophia Rabb (Weston, Mass.) placed second in intermediate fences 6A to gain entry to the championship, where she placed third to help Brown jump to 16 points. Senior Laura Kirk (Needham, Mass.) took third in novice fences 4A but Cornell overtook the Bears for the lead with 23 points to Brown's 19.
Heading to novice flat, sophomore Emma Hall (Sheridan, Wyo.) finished third in 3A and Kirk pinned third in 3B as the point rider to give the Bears 23 points. Cornell and Dartmouth continued to excel with 28 and 25 team points, respectively, proceeding to walk trot canter.
Freshman Chloe Hequet (London, England) placed second in walk trot canter 2BB despite a late canter and 2A point rider Alex VanHattum (Kentwood, Mich.) secured a critical blue ribbon for seven points, pushing the Bears over the 30-point plateau.
With Cornell in first (31), Brown in second (30) and Dartmouth in third (29), the show would come down to walk trot. The Big Green point rider took first and the Bears placed fifth, resulting in Dartmouth leaping into the championship slot with 36 points.

After Decimus had wound up the last campaign with two wins, trainer Jeremy Scott decided to send him novice chasing this term.
However, after three dismal efforts he was switched back to hurdles and has now obliged in two of his last three races.
The combination of forcing tactics and better ground saw Decimus (14/1) hold last week's Cheltenham scorer and 6/4 favourite Kingsmere in the Racing UK-sponsored handicap hurdle over three miles.
Both Kingsmere and One Conemara held every chance at the final flight, but the seven-year-old would not be denied as 5lb claimer Matt Griffiths guided him home by a length and a quarter and the same.
"He just seems to relish this better ground. That seems to have made the difference to him," said Scott.
"He seemed to hate jumping fences so our chasing campaign didn't go terribly well which did allow his hurdle mark to drop a little bit. He's been able to make use of it.
"I imagine we'll keep going during the summer. There's no point racing him in the winter. He doesn't like soft ground so we might as well kick on and see how we get on."
There was a two-day ban (May 6-7) for Kingsmere's rider Jake Greenall for overuse of the whip.

David Darnell, a Republican House candidate, says on elections documents that he owns a business, but records indicate he does not have an active business registered with the state.
Darnell in his Voters Pamphlet statement lists his occupation as General Supervising Electrician/Business owner. His company, Electrical and Lighting Services, failed to renew its license Dec. 7, 2013, according to the Oregon Secretary of States business registry.
Actually, its my wifes (business) that we still own, Darnell said. Its pretty much defunct. It was a little thing we started after the economy went to heck, and it petered out, and we havent done much with it.
Darnell said he didnt know when he stopped running the business and did not recall the last time it worked on a project.
Darnell and his wife previously owned at least two other businesses. One businesss license lapsed in 2006 and then again in 2008, and another business dissolved in 2007.
Darnell is a Hubbard electrician and chairman of the Marion County Republican Party. Hes challenging Rep. Vic Gilliam, R-Silverton, in the May 20 primary and has received $75,000 from Loren Parks, a reclusive Nevada millionaire and owner of an Aloha-based medical equipment supply company, and $25,000 from Stimson Lumber.
Tony Green, a spokesman for the Oregon Secretary of States Office, said the agency would investigate any Voters Pamphlet statement if it receives a complaint. It has not received a complaint on Darnell, he said.
Knowingly making a false statement in an official elections document is a Class C felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $125,000 fine.
We have to look at if there was an actual falsehood, and then we have to look at intent because itd be a criminal case, Green said. If we did receive a complaint, wed have to look at the facts and come up with our record because thatd be the basis of the decision on what to do.
In 2010, former West Linn Mayor Patti Galle was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and complete 120 hours of community service for lying on her Voters Pamphlet statement. Galle had bought an associates degree online and backdated the diploma to support campaign claims that she was degreed in English.
