LED Modules comes in 3000K variant for architectural lighting.

    - April 9, 2014 by Mr HomeBuilder

"Access Fixtures had numerous requests by architects, lighting specifiers, and property owners for outdoor LED lighting that had a warmer color light," said Access Fixtures CEO, Steven Rothschild. He continued, "Access Fixtures is now offering our popular LG LED modules in 3000K too. The lower Kelvin temperature helps provide warmer feel to the application and will not affect wildlife habits in the way white bluish lights may."

Whether the application is a retrofit or a new installation, lower Kelvin temperature LED light makes it easier to provide consistent warm light throughout an entire application. LG LED modules use only 12w of energy and have a rated average life of 50,000 hours. This makes these modules great for use in locations like college campuses with old stone or brick buildings, and around older municipal and commercial buildings with classic architecture. The LG LED modules reduce the maintenance, save energy and provide aesthetically appealing light.

Mold to Cost Kanawha County School Board Thousands, My Cleaning Products Gives Tips How to Kill Mold Early and Prevent …

    - April 9, 2014 by Mr HomeBuilder

Charleston, WV (PRWEB) April 09, 2014

A mold remediation was set to be implemented in one West Virginia school. And according to a report from wsaz.com, the whole process would cost more than a hundred thousand. Meanwhile, in order to help the public avoid such a huge mold removal expense, My Cleaning Products gave tips how to kill mold early.

The report was posted on April 07, 2014. And based on it, the scheduled remediation was a response to the serious mold problem these recent months at Mary Ingles Elementary.

Kanawha County School Board members approved the plan for the mold clean up last Monday, shared the report. It relayed that the entire process will cost $155,000. As it also related, the board expects that the whole remediation will be completed by August.

Here is a part of the post Mold Remediation to be Implemented at West Virginia School by My Cleaning Products.

"The presence of mold in school poses a huge health risk to students. That, in return, presents a big concern for officials and, more so, for parents. And with it troubling Mary Ingles Elementary, it's a relief that a mold clean up was set to take place in it."

"Mold has been a serious issue in the school in the recent months. And to resolve the problem with it, the Kanawha County School Board members approved a plan to clear the fungus off the campus on Monday."

There are many minor and major health problems associated with mold presence, said My Cleaning Products. Severe exposure to particular species of it was even linked to death, it added.

Given all those health risks, everyone has more than enough reason to get rid of mold, it asserted. And as it stressed, it got to be done early to prevent its worst health and financial effects.

To do that, MCP advised the public to be always on the look out for mold signs. It also stated that everyone must prepare a mold spray so the clean up could be implemented as soon as the mold presence is confirmed.

TruBlue of St. Cloud Offers Total House Care Services

    - April 9, 2014 by Mr HomeBuilder

St. Cloud, FL (PRWEB) April 08, 2014

Even in Florida, with all the rental properties and people who live in the state part-time, Jeff and Bonnie Brasure couldnt seem to find a reputable full-service company to care for their retirement home, while they were living in the Northeast.

So when the pair opted to move to Florida a little early, they decided to fill the gap and open TruBlue of St. Cloud, which just launched at the end of February.

TruBlue of St. Cloud specializes in providing complete house care, which includes maid services, home improvement, repair services, lawn care and more. TruBlue of St. Cloud serves St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Celebration, Poinciana, Lake Nona, and the southern and eastern parts of Orlando.

We are a locally owned and operated business designed to help homeowners and business owners maintain their properties and their property values, Jeff said. We are here to help the seniors, active adults and busy professionals who need someone to help keep their property in great shape, without all the hassle.

TruBlue also works with real estate professionals and people looking to sell their clients homes, but need to improve curb appeal and sell their properties quickly. TruBlue also works closely with General Contractors with final preparations to ready their newly built homes for the marketplace. Additionally, property Managers use the company to help them maintain their properties for their clients. Whether renting year round or short term vacation rentals, TruBlue is there to keep the homes in tip top shape. All TruBlue franchises are fully insured and bonded and all employees are background checked and certified.

Jeff is no stranger to running a business. He started his career in custom home building and then moved into the commercial fire and security business. He owned and operated his own commercial security business for eight years, before selling it to join Tyco International as a Sales Manager and then District Manager. Bonnies career has included an administrative role for 19+ years at the State of Vermont, Public Safety Department, which included the Emergency Management Agency, and Vermont State Police. She is also a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.

We bought a home in Florida a year ago, as a future retirement home, but a career change allowed us to move sooner. In the meantime though, we found it extremely difficult to find people to maintain and clean the house while we were gone. We asked the neighbors who they used and even chased trucks down the street to see what services they offered. It then became quite clear to us that there was a need for, and business opportunity, to combine home repair, maintenance, remodeling, maid service and lawn care. Furthermore, we wanted to make it easier for other families to find these services online, and through local advertisers, Jeff said.

When theyre not running the business, Jeff and Bonnie are busy getting involved in the community. Theyve joined the Osceola County St Cloud Chamber of Commerce and are active in a local Business Networking, BNI group. Theyre also planning to be involved in the areas 4th of July festival and will be looking to support local charities as their business grows.

Dont Get 'Ghosted' By Lawn Scammers and Other Spring Lawn Care Tips

    - April 9, 2014 by Mr HomeBuilder

ABC US News | ABC Business NewsCopy

If youve got a lawn and hate to mow, beware the lawn service ghosts.

Ghosting is an insiders term used by lawn care professionals to describe workers who promise to come out and treat a homeowners lawn but who dont actually do any work.

Homeowners whove been ghosted will find service flags stuck in their lawn and a receipt in their mailbox, but not much else. Complaints about ghosting and the splash and dash -- which is like ghosting, except a little bit of fertilizer or herbicide is thrown around -- abound on online lawn care forums.

Some consumers are catching on. More than 3,500 complaints were filed last year in the Better Business Bureau network against various lawn care services, including gripes about shoddy workmanship, contract issues or problems with billing and collections.

Either the grass [problem] is not cured or the lawn is not any better than before they came or the contract is never-ending, so they get stuck in that long-term contract, said Steve Bernas, CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois, citing some common complaints.

David Feeney of Land O Lakes, Fla., caught a lawn ghoster shortly after installing a home security camera in 2010. On the video he posted to YouTube, which stops and starts when motion is detected, an employee from a lawn service can be seen driving up to Feeneys house, placing a flag in the yard, knocking on the front door and leaving without doing any work, as he looks over his shoulder.

The lawn really looked great, and I think that was probably why the guy decided not to do anything, Feeney told the ABC News Fixer. It was a Friday afternoon. Maybe he wanted to get done early and go have a beer.

I was pretty shocked, Feeney added.

After Feeney examined the video and the $42 bill for the nonexistent service he complained to the lawn service, which apologized, withdrew the bill and let him cancel his account.
