Andersen Corporation today announced the appointment of Paul Valle as the president of Silver Line Business Products, its New Jersey-based vinyl window and patio doors division.

Paul brings strong building material industry experience and has proven results in operating within a matrix environment leading multi-site manufacturing organizations, said Andersen Corporation President and CEO Jay Lund. His global experience with both branded and commodity products will serve him well in his new role as the leader of Silver Line.

Valle joins Andersen from CertainTeed, where his most recent role was president of the North American insulation group based in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. CertainTeed, a leading brand of interior and exterior building products, is a subsidiary of the world's largest building products company, Saint-Gobain. Valle spent the majority of his career at Saint-Gobain working in a number of progressively responsible operations and general management roles.

He started his career with Saint-Gobain in his native South Africa, where he earned his bachelors degree in commercial law at the University of Witwatersrand.
