Ministry of Brewing is located along E. Lombard Street in Baltimore, Maryland, and is housed in the former St. Michaels Church. The church was built in 1857 and owned and operated by the Redemptorists, an order of Catholic priests. It sat abandoned since 2011 until the owners of Ministry of Brewing decided to refurbish and revitalize it to serve a much different clientele than it previously did.

Since it opened its doors this past February, Ministry of Brewing has served up a mix of their own beer and ciders that people can enjoy, all while taking in the beautiful, stained glass windows, ornate ceiling and columns, and even the original church organ that is perched above the indoor dining area.

We are humbled to base our operations in the former St. Michaels Church and proud to be revitalizing a historic community gathering place. Our team brings together experienced industry professionals resulting in beer, food, and ambiance that will elevate your senses, the brewerys website states.

You can also choose to sit on the patio on nice days and even hold private or public events there, like meetings, weddings, holiday parties, and fundraisers.

Only outdoor seating is available at this time, and reservations are currently required for table service. Face masks must be worn until you're safely seated, as well as while the server is at your table.Carry-out service for growlers, growler fills, and select merchandise are available and can be placed on the brewerys website.

With a verietyofpilsners, pale ales, saisons, ciders, and craft sodas, its never been easier to make it to church!

What do you think of this unique brewery? Think you would give it a try? Tell us in the comments!
