Glamorous Granville Awards Night

GLAMOUR, glitz, high profile guests, and photographers are what immediately come to mind when thinking about aRedCarpetthemeparty! And I had some sort of a red carpet experience at the Apo View Hotel, during the Granville Awards Night.

It is my second time to host the Granville property event, and for most part, I am always in awe by the preparations they set for their sales agents. Not to mention the prices at stake, food preparations and theme they usually initiated that really brought the house down.

Last August 16, 2014, all Sales Agents were dressed to the Niles, everybody had the chance to walk the red carpet, have their photos taken by wannabe paparazzi and gamely posed at all angles. I honestly, would have to say they actually looked glamorous and very much like the Hollywood stars. They splurge on the gowns for that night, jewelries that set the tone of the evening and hairstyles that coupled the look, indeed it was their chance to shine on the red carpet.

Some prefer the most conservative gowns, while others prefer next to skin dresses, somewhat reminiscent to what actress Cher wore at the Oscars in 1988, who by the way was hailed the Lady of the Night.

And as the lights went off for the start of the awards show, the Metropolitan Dancers and Ms. Joy Laquinario the Star of Davao 2011 started the show with a blast, with her throat-cutting version of Fame.

Prestige Homes Realty and Development Corporation General Manager, Ms. Miraluna I. Cerbo gave an inspirational opening speech, walking us through the developments of the company. She was glamorous herself, welcoming each agents and V.I.Ps with smiles and allure. Despite a very hands-on mother of four and loving wife, she is entirely one of the main foundation of the Granville project.

In between the sumptuous dinner is the raffle draw and the Minute to Win It Game, I have to say it wasnt a poor copycat of the TV Show, every detail and game was actually emulated from the game show and as host it was indeed a challenge. The agents were so aggressive and totally sport to try and complete wild and wacky challenges in aminuteor less. To explain the rules of each of the games, Ms. Breach downloaded the blueprints.The blueprints are the 30 second explanations for each game; put them all together in the order of the party along with the 60-second countdown.

One of my favorite games was the Trivia Challenge, the audience will get to see a visual video on screen of a movie, music or a famous line and guess the right answer. There were a lot of funny moments over the course of the game, some managed to give the right answers while some actually just crack everyone up with their out of this world comments. But overall, it was a fun party.

Ms. Maricris Santiago & Mr. Doris Lowell Marcellones (Metropolitan Bank Trust Company), Ms. Kessa Sousa (Philippine Business Bank), Ms. Gloria Mejorada& Mr. Wilhelmino (Banco De Oro), Mr. Rommel Caturam& Mr. Oliver Sinagote (Metrobank), Mr. DavinAcuram, Mr. Tan Yu, Ms. Sam Montecalbo (Philippine Business Bank), Mr. John Paulo Pepacaquibo (Philippine Bank of Communications), Ms. Lea Trabucon and Mr. Noli Armada assisted in giving out the awards and plaques to Granvilles Top Sales performers. Prestige Home Realty &Granvilles President Mr. Manuel Cerbo Jr. concluded the Awards Night with an inspiring message as well motivating sales agents to promote Granville Subdivision, the only subdivision in Davao City that offers no reservation fee with straight monthly 36 mos. down payment.
