Aimia will occupy four floors of Kevric's latest project, a 35-story office tower and condominium complex currently under construction at the corner of Viger Street and Beaver Hall Hill. The office tower will be named after Aimia while the residential portion of the project will be known as Altoria.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -
A retaining wall is in desperate need of repair behind a property at 1028 Mechanic Street in south Bethlehem, according to a man who addressed Bethlehem City Council Tuesday night.
If this wall comes down, somebodys going to get killed, warned Robert Delker.
Delker, who resides in Northampton, said the home at that address was owned by his mother but is being transferred to him.
Delker told council an engineer hired by the city to inspect the wall in 2004 concluded it is leaning and in danger of collapsing.
Eight years later, the wall is getting worse, warned Delker. He said in the last few weeks, three big pieces of concrete broke off from a portion of the wall that is next door to his mothers home.
He warned the wall could collapse on children playing in yards beneath it.
Delker said he first brought the matter to City Council in April, but has gotten no response from Bethlehems administration. I got absolutely no where.
He said the city administrators told him it would be opening cans of worms by going on private property to fix walls. But Delker stressed a portion of the wall was repaired by the city in the 1980s.
Delker read a letter from State Sen. Lisa Boscola stating the wall is a public safety concern for those residents living in that neighborhood. Should this wall collapse in the future, it could be a grave outcome nobody wants to witness. In her letter, sent to the city, Boscola expressed hope a solution can be worked out between the city and the property owners.

THE collapse of a retaining wall at Olivers Hill has officially been blamed on bad design.
VicRoads regional director Peter Todd said an independent investigation had found the key contributing factor to the collapse related to design assumptions made about the weight of the retaining wall.
As a result, when constructed, the wall was not able to withstand the loads being imposed on it, Mr Todd said.
In light of this information, VicRoads has reviewed its design processes to address this matter.
The investigation also looked at design options for a new retaining wall at the site.
Mr Todd said a structure, similar in nature to the previous wall, was still considered the most appropriate for this site, given the close proximity of the road and private properties on top of the road embankment.
Detailed design is under way.
At this stage, it is expected that the construction of the new retaining wall will commence in October and be completed before the end of 2012, he said.
A retaining wall of rock-filled wire baskets being constructed at the bottom of Olivers Hill collapsed on Thursday, April 19, causing traffic chaos for motorists.

NEW ORLEANS Firefighters fought a massive two-alarm fire that broke out in an abandoned church in Mid-City on Wednesday morning.
At 3:27 a.m., the first alarm was sounded and a crew made their way to the two-story building near the intersection of Banks Street and S. Salcedo Street. Firefighters arrived at 3:30 a.m. and rang the second alarm at 3:32 a.m. when they saw that the second floor was fully involved in flame.
At one point, thick smoke shrouded the block, as cranes high above the old Jehovah's Witness church shot water streams upon the structure.
There was recently construction being done. The second floor of the church had about 10 one-story apartments recently added. No one was living in there, said New Orleans Fire Department Capt. Edwin Holmes.
An occupied single family home on the right side of the church received damage to the side and the rear, according to the NOFD.
By 4:17 a.m., 43 firefighters were able to get the fire under control, as smoke cleared and nearby residents viewed the scene from a safe distance.

The Christian minority in Indonesia faced 64 cases of violations of religious freedom last year, up from 47 in 2010, said Theophilus Bela, president of the group. Bela said he was worried about the growing incidence of violence and church closures, as his group recorded just 10 anti-Christian incidents in 2009. There were 40 such incidents in 2008, he said.
At least 22 churches have been forced to close this year, including 18 in the Singkil regency of Aceh Province that were sealed last month, as local authorities either sided with or came under pressure from extremist Islamist groups in this Southeast Asian archipelago that is home to the world's largest Muslim population, according to Bela.
The closures in Aceh followed last month's election of a hard-line Islamic governor. Bela said that after his organization's intervention the closed churches in Aceh began worshipping again on May 13, but unconfirmed reports indicate other churches in the area have since been forced to close.
Violence against Christians has also increased, with most incidents taking place in areas surrounding Jakarta and Singkil, said Bela, who is also secretary general of the Indonesian Committee on Religion and Peace, a group that promotes inter-religious dialogue.
Besides a May 17 incident in which 600 Islamists hurled bags of urine and ditchwater at about 100 members of the Philadelphia Batak Christian Protestant Church in Bekasi, near Jakarta in West Java Province, local authorities closed down a small Pentecostal church about 15 miles west of Jakarta in Tangerang city, Banten Province, after members of the radical Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) attacked it on April 14, Bela said.

MHI received the order for the two cruise ships in November 2011. The 125,000 gross tonnage (G/T), 3,250 passenger ships will be the largest ever constructed for AIDA Cruises. Construction will take place at MHI's Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works, with deliveries scheduled for the spring of 2015 and 2016, respectively.
The air blown out by the MALS from the vessel's bottom produces small air bubbles which cover the vessel's bottom like an "air-carpet", which reduces friction between the hull and seawater during navigation. For the MALS, MHI uses special in-house developed high-efficiency blowers and state-of-the-art fluid simulation analysis tools to configure the arrangement of air outlet points to achieve maximum friction reduction at optimized air-blow volume. With these advanced innovations, MHI expects a 7% energy-saving effect. In 2010, MHI has already verified the performance of the MALS with an approximately 13% fuel consumption reduction during extensive sea trials on two module carriers which was the first commercial application of the MALS for the vessel in operation.
Following the successful launching of the MALS on module carriers, MHI has completed a newly developed concept design for bulk carriers, a major marine transportation vessel, that enables an approximately 25% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to conventional vessels, thanks to application of the MALS complemented with high-efficiency hull form and improved propulsion system. MHI will provide its conceptual design of this energy-saving bulk carrier for three grain carriers to be built for Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM), a major U.S. grain handler.
Given the current trend toward adoption of international marine transportation rules for reducing environmental burdens, coupled with continuing fuel price escalation, demand for more energy-efficient vessels is steadily increasing. In response, MHI aims not only to further strengthen its marketing activities for new MALS-installed ships such as module carriers, bulk carriers and cruise ships; it also intends to promote business in retrofitting MALS to existing vessels. Simultaneously, the company will conduct focused marketing activities for its environment and energy-saving related technologies, including licensing of MALS technologies, and also build up its engineering business through provision of eco-ship related technologies and increased sales of energy-saving systems.
