Whats the key to attend more sales? Diversification. Leading canopy tent supplier ace canopy has decided to leave no stone unturned in its quest to offer canopy tents to the public. Temporary shelter has many applications but has been limited to higher income customers due to cost. This year, Ace canopy has decided to create of line of pop-up tents and temporary canopies that are more affordable yet look more like the expensive kind. Many customers want canopy tents for temporary use but cannot afford them. Due to the cost of heavy-duty materials, Ace is bringing out a new line of light duty framed and center material canopy tents for temporary use that still look like the higher end quality tents.
Ace canopy CEO and founder Michael Stein says, Due to the economy for the past several years. Many customers have held out from getting canopy tents due to their budget. Our new line of canopy tents and gazebos enable the customer to have a product that looks expensive, but cost much less. Granted that the frames of material are not as of high quality as our heavy-duty models this still gives the customer an opportunity to have a product that looks good, albeit only temporary use.
Many of the canopy tent patterns were modeled after the higher end shelters, but the thickness of the fabric and gauge of the steel frames were minimized to bring down the cost. According to the canopy company, many customers only need these tents for a weekend or 2 out of the year, but would like something that looks nice but cost much less than the industrial models. The company also wanted to compete with rental companies. Many times a rental company will charge nearly 30% of the actual cost of a tent. The new ace canopy models are approximately 60% less than the commercial grade canopies. This makes owning an option as opposed to renting.

One of the main principles of the ancient art of feng shui involves chi, or energy. Furniture, art and accessories are always placed with the flow of chi in mind, so that the homes energy is not blocked, trapped or rushed out. For example, ample space should be maintained in each room so that the chi can continue to circulate, and an open traffic flow is always encouraged.
Another concept within the feng shui philosophy is yin/yang, which means a balance of opposing things. In life as well as in design, nothing is all black (yin) or white (yang), but a balance can be created when using both in unison. Yin is considered the female energy, and yang the male. Yin/yang is also applied to colors (yin being muted; yang, bright), lines (yin, curved; yang, straight) or objects yin, soft; yang, hard). A balanced combination of yin and yang makes a nicely designed space, and will also appeal to both sexes.
Five elements in feng shui are also used to create balance: water, wood, fire, earth and metal. These elemental representations refer to the actual materials themselves, as well as to their corresponding colors and shapes. Water is represented by the color blue and curvy shapes, wood by greens and columnar shapes, fire by red and spiky shapes, earth by browns and rectangular shapes, and metal by pastels and round shapes.
According to feng shui principles, if there is too much fire in a room, it will be over stimulating. Too much earth is boring, too much water feels cold, too much wood feels hard, and too much metal, rigid. Yet all these elements can be combined to create a space that looks and feels beautifully balanced.
Another way to create balance is by using symmetry. Options include arranging furnishings of similar size across the room from each other, or taking the architectural features into account and placing furniture accordingly. Another balancing trick is using soft, curvy and comfortable (yin) pieces along with hard, straight and sleek (yang) pieces, or patterns and smaller accent pieces (yin) along with stripes and larger items (yang). It is usually advisable to use a combination of these colors, shapes and textures in a room, so feel free to mix it up!
A mirror should not be hung directly across from a doorway, as it will reflect the chi back outside; a mirror should not be located near the bed if you have sleep problems, as it stirs up the chi; and mirrors should be hung high enough so that the tallest persons head isnt cut off (bad chi!). Also, a mirror should not reflect anything uninteresting or unflattering, like a blank ceiling or a person eating, sleeping or talking. However, placing a mirror opposite a great view is a wonderful way to expand the room, as well as accent natures beauty inside.
For those of us that are looking to create a more comfortable home, feng shui is a helpful tool . Ask yourself: are there items in each room that are hard and soft, curved and flat, warm and cool, reflective and dull? Take some time to insure that your home has a nice balance of all lifes shapes, sizes, colors and textures.

The co-organiser of the Pathumwan stage said the intersection was an area that was safe and a good location for shooting pictures. Yet it was also easy for anti-government protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban to move if he wanted to march to other rally sites.
"The PDRC leaders once thought of having the main stage at Ratchaprasong intersection. But someone said it was the same spot that the pro-government red-shirt protesters had gathered - so we should let them have their great memories," he said with a laugh.
Dangkamon revealed that his set-up at the site was for three days only, but said he did not know how long the battle will last.
He said several well-known people would take part as speakers, such as energy expert ML Kornkasiwat Kasemsri, former Engineering Institute of Thailand president Tortrakul Yomnak, and radio anchor Fongsanan Chamornchan. But he has also invited musical bands to join, such as the Blue Sapphires and the CU Band.
Dangkamon, who directed the acclaimed "Spring Awakening" and "Siam Niramit", became the co-organising chief after the PDRC closed the capital for half a day on December 22, and held rallies at five stage sites. He said stage programmes were managed by three parties - academics from Chulalongkorn University (CU), Thammasat Alumni for Thailand's Evolution (TTE), and PDRC core leader Satit Wongnongtoey. CU will run morning events and co-organise with TTE for afternoon events, before the PDRC takes over control in "prime time", in the evenings.
The stage, LCD projectors, and audio equipment were brought from the Rajdamnoen rally site.
Meanwhile, Wasan Paileeklee, a key member of TTE, said his group decided to join the Pathum Wan rally as strong supporters of the protest, by inviting guest speakers and setting up an exhibit on political knowledge at the site. He said his group would today officially hand the rally stage over to the PDRC, given that Suthep was marching to visit many sites yesterday.
He said CU and TU had a long-term relationship. That was why TTE came to this rally stage.

BANGKOK - Pathumwan intersection was chosen as the new main rally site for the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) because of its good "feng shui", Dangkamon Na-Pombejra, head of Chulalongkorn University's Department of Dramatic Arts, said yesterday.
The co-organiser of the Pathumwan stage said the intersection was an area that was safe and a good location for shooting pictures. Yet it was also easy for anti-government protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban to move if he wanted to march to other rally sites.

There he was, on Monday afternoon at Dodger Stadium, a gorgeous sunny day, wearing a shirt and tie in the 27 C heat: Wayne Gretzky, making his first official appearance on behalf of the NHL in eons and it was good to see him back.
Officially, the occasion was the arrival of the ice truck a term used to describe the largest mobile refrigeration unit in the world which will turn the stadium infield into a hockey arena under the swaying Southern California palm trees two Saturdays from now.
Unlike the previous Winter and Heritage Classics, all played in traditional hockey markets, this game in the NHLs Stadium Series will be played between Gretzkys former team, the Los Angeles Kings, and the No. 1 team in the league, the Anaheim Ducks, against a lush and summery backdrop.
There will be a beach volleyball court set up in left field, a sound stage in right field where the rock band Kiss will play, and, in centre, a swimming pool with the Ducks logo emblazoned in the middle.
Gretzky attended the press gathering at the urging of his former teammate Luc Robitaille, now the Kings president of business operations, but also because the NHL asked him to come in and help bang the publicity drums.
This was noteworthy because Gretzky hasnt been seen in too many NHL arenas of late. And though he would never characterize himself as estranged from the league, it is no coincidence fences are finally being mended now that the NHL has finally paid him what he was owed him as an unsecured creditor of the Phoenix Coyotes.
Gretzky, who was accompanied Monday by his wife, Janet, had kept the NHL at arms length after he resigned as Coyotes head coach, preferring to watch his children play sports and essentially be a stay-at-home dad, sprinkled with the odd promotional appearance for his corporate sponsors.
Robitaille said the Kings invited Gretzky to be part of the outdoor game festivities, but it was important it came from the league, too. It was [NHL chief operating officer] John Collins and his group and [commissioner] Gary Bettman and [deputy commissioner] Bill Daly, they reached out to him and asked him to be part of it. We wanted to make sure it came from everyone. We cant have this game without having Wayne.
Wayne Gretzky is probably like our Babe Ruth and we need him around. When he came to L.A., it changed the game in the United States forever. You look at what hes done on the ice, its incredible. A lot of what hes done off the ice is his legacy and it lives on. Its very important hes a part of the league and involved in all the big events that are going on.
The league has wanted to get its most iconic face more visible for some time now, and Monday was the perfect opportunity on two separate fronts.

Crime & Punishment of Tuesday, 14 January 2014
Source: Daily Guide
The 25-year-old auto-electrician held in connection with the murder of Rosemond Nyampong at her residence has confessed to committing the horrific crime alone.
Abraham Oyotey Baah admitted to the crime yesterday at the Tema Development Corporation (TDC) Magistrate Court presided over by Mr. Isaac Adjei.
According to information gathered by the Daily Guide, Abraham explained during the trial which was held in camera that he entered the victim's home and pushed Rosemond, 32, who knew him as a neighbour, to the ground, which led to a struggle.
He narrated that he managed to overpower Rosemond and gagged her mouth with a piece of cloth to prevent her from screaming to attract other neighbours.
Abraham earlier claimed he was contracted by a woman, who gave him Rosemond's photograph to kill her, but had since failed to disclose the identity of the said woman.
Chief Inspector Sylvia Okain who held brief for Chief Inspector Cecelia Mensah, the prosecutor handling the case, prayed the court to remand Abraham so the Attorney General's Department would have ample time to give its advice on the docket.
The presiding judge, without wasting much time, ordered that the suspect be remanded in prison instead of police custody, until February,2013.
