New Zealand Kauri Tree Removal
This New Zealand Kauri tree (Agathis Australis) unfortunately had a house built right next to it in the seventies. So the owners could remove it, they agreed with the council to retain a larger one - which they loved and wanted to protect anyway. The larger tree was also right against the house, so in order to protect it they moved the building and deck back 500mm.
