Construction is set to begin this month on a Bonefish Grill restaurant adjacent to the Drury Inn & Suites going up in Brentwood.
That's the word today from Spiegelglass Construction Co., which said it will build the $1.6 million project at 8780 Eager Road.
Spiegelglass, based in Maryland Heights, said the restaurant will open in October.
Spiegelglass said the restaurant will seat 380 people and will include an outdoor patio with a fireplace. Bonefish Grill is a seafood chain based in St. Petersburg, Fla. It has opened restaurants in 34 states since its founding in 2000.
Drury is building the eight-story hotel on Eager Road at Interstate 64 and Brentwood Boulevard. The $35.5 million, 210-room hotel is headed toward completion this year.

A construction worker and an employee of a restaurant were trapped when a two-storey building collapsed in Balaji Nagar, Puzhuthivakkam on Friday. Efforts were on past midnight to rescue Masoom Sait (20), the construction worker, while Palani (40), a cook at the restaurant, was rescued and rushed to a hospital.
We went to the restaurant for dinner and even before we could realise what was happening, the building collapsed, said Tajimuddin, a construction worker.
He had accompanied a group of workers, including Masoom Sait, for dinner at Chandra Mess, functioning out of the building that is about a decade old.
The building came down a little past 10 p.m. While Jayapal, owner of the restaurant and three employees managed to run out of the building, Masoom Sait and Palani, who was at work in the kitchen, were trapped. Fire tenders from at least 3 stations reached the spot. Firemen used earth moving equipment to clear the rubble. While they managed to remove Palani from the rubble and rushed him to a private hospital, efforts were on to rescue Masoom Sait.

As Treasure Mountain Casino, Restaurant and Lounge marks its 20th anniversary next week, Mike Munro, who co-owns the business with his wife, Dori, understands the connection of a successful business to the community.
Its family, our family and the families of our customers, Munro said earlier this week. After 20 years, you kind of get a different outlook on things, sort of live and let live. You get to know the people who come through your door, and Im not just saying staff. Its the people, our customers. We strive to be 100 percent, to make sure its right.
Part of making it right are Munro daughters, Jessica and Molly, who are key managers when the elder Munros are unavailable.
To show gratitude to their customers, Treasure Mountain will offer specials on meals.
Of course, the staff of 15 employees will gladly offer anything off the menu that includes a multitude of combined items of the breakfast and later-day menus.
We may have just about the most extensive menu in town, Munro said. The menu includes about 150 items. Weve got everything from peanut butter to prime rib.
Construction on Treasure Mountain Casino, Restaurant and Lounge began the last week of October 1993, opening for business about six months later on April 13, 1994.
Along the way, Treasure Mountain has made improvements and upgraded the 5,680-square foot building.
Weve remodeled two or three times, Munro said. We put the divider wall in to separate the lounge from the restaurant. The poker machines used to sit out here. We took them back into the corner to get the gaming away from the lounge for more privacy. Theres more privacy in the dining room side, too. Basically, weve remodeled all along.
Today, Treasure Mountain features restaurant dining in spacious area with rows of windows offering lots of sunlight. A salad bar strategically located between the lounge and restaurant dining offers chilled veggies for those who want to compliment their main-course meal. Customers may also order meals or finger-food in the lounge that boasts large-screen TVs for the sports-minded enthusiasts.

A PLUMBER has been fined $4500, plus costs, for unlawful contracting and misuse of a licence.
Paul Joseph Wright didn't appear in court and the matter was dealt with in his absence.
He had been a licensed contractor for seven years until his licence lapsed in October 2011.
Queensland Building and Construction Commission barrister Simon Formby said Wright had been informed by letter that his licence was suspended.
However Wright proceeded to install a hot water system in a private residence under the Office of Clean Energy scheme.
He then filled out paperwork in-putting his lapsed QBCC licence to receive the solar rebate, the Mackay Miscellaneous Court was told.
Mr Formby submitted these were "two separate offences" and Wright should have known he was unlicensed.
Mr Formby said there was no amount of work a plumber could do without a licence.
"A QBCC licence (is) not a trade licence, it's a business licence," Mr Formby said.

Giant rodent caught in the home of family in Dublin, Ireland Measured 24inches and had to be removed by hand after trap failed
By Daily Mail Reporter

Another giant rat has been trapped by pest control after terrorising an Irish family in south Dublin, in what is just the latest case of 'monster vermin' in residential areas.
The 24inch monster rodent had been terrorising Grace and Ian Walters home in Kingswood shortly after they moved into their new flat.
Pest control were called in but despite luring the large rat into a trap, it was so big it had to be removed by hand.

Big rodent: The giant monster rat was found in a family residence in Kingswood, south Dublin last week
Grace and Ian Walters had just moved into their home near Citywest Industrial Park in the Irish capital when they heard loud scratching sounds in the ceiling
Marcus Giusti, of Total Pest Control, said it was one of the biggest rats he has ever caught, but agreeing with recent reports from the UK and Europe, he says the pests are growing bigger and their numbers are swelling too.

Pest experts in Ireland are warning residents about a disturbing new animal settling down in the area: cat-sized rats.
The warning was issued after a massive 24-inch rat was trapped in the attic of a Dublin home. Resident Grace Walters first became aware of the presence of an unwanted guest in her home when she heard loud scratching noises coming from her ceiling.
The family called local exterminator Total Pest Control to their home, and exterminators found what they said was one of the bigger rats theyve ever seen. This raises the obvious question: if this is just one of the "bigger" rats seen, how massive is the biggest?
Total Pest owner Marcus Giusti said he was shocked at the size of the rodent, which measured in at an unsettling 24 inches.
We really werent anticipating the rat would be that big, Giusti said. The trap didnt have any impact on him so we had to stick our head up where the speaker was located and remove it that way.
Giusti said keeping your house or apartment clean is a good way to ward off rats.
I think its a lot to do with climate and hygiene, he said. If people leave their household bins overflowing and in disarray, they are essentially creating a food source for these animals.
Lets just hope these mega rats dont make their way to a Dunkin Donuts anytime soon.
Here are two pictures of the huge rodent:
