Home Warranty Plans Prices Displayed Online by Housing Company - September 17, 2013 by Mr HomeBuilder

San Francisco, California (PRWEB) September 17, 2013

Protecting a home with a warranty policy is one way that some homeowners are helping to lower any out of pocket costs for repairs. The Real Estate News Wire company is now displaying its home warranty plans prices online from top companies at http://realestatenewswire.com/home-warranties. This housing company has reached partnerships with providers of extended warranties online.

The interior, exterior and personal possessions that exist inside any home are usually protected separately from different policies. A standard homeowner protection policy could be limited in the amount of coverage based on the age of the home as well as the current condition.

The warranty plans now viewable online seek to introduce lower payments and higher coverage amounts to owners of property.

"The plans that we're giving access to protect a person's valuables as well as the structural integrity of a home," said a housing expert for the RealEstateNewsWire.com company.

The search for warranty plan providers can be a lengthy one due partly to the lack of information posted by some companies online. Many companies prefer to supply a written quote when specific information is provided by a property owner by telephone or when applications are processed.

The information that is now currently accessible online for each policy is provided direct through broker companies and other sources of data that help to present accurate information without an exchange of personal information.

"Many consumers are first interested in the amount that is required to pay for a policy prior to viewing the actual coverage amounts," the housing expert confirmed.

The immediate database access that is offered by the Real Estate News Wire company provides property owners with the choice of inputting contact information to receive a more detailed quote from providers. Positions for first name, telephone number and email address are offered in the database for secure submissions.

Get Gephardt Investigation Leads to State Charges Against Home Warranty Company - September 14, 2013 by Mr HomeBuilder

(KUTV) When Nick Williams bought his West Jordan home from a bank two years ago, he wanted to make sure he protected his investment. He bought this warranty from a company called Sensible Home Warranty.

[The warranty] covers everything in the home basically," Nick said.

Last February, buying seemed like a great decision when Nicks furnace stopped working.

It was like 15 degrees or something and I have a one year old kid.

Nick called Sensible Home Warranty and says he was instructed to hire a repairman and send Sensible Home Warranty the bill.

"I sent the invoice to them, emailed it to them, [and] called back later that day to verify that they had received it, Nick said.

Nick waited two months for his $661 refund and when it didn't come, Nick says he sent and resent the receipt. With no results, Nick asked to speak to a manager but was told that no managers are available. Unable to get the warranty company to honor their end of the deal, Nick decided to Get Gephardt.

We began by calling Sensible Home Warranty at their headquarters in Sparks, Nevada, but no one ever called us back.

As Get Gephardt dug deeper, we discovered that Sensible Home Warranty was ordered to stop doing business in the state of Washington. The order says they were "Engaging in or transacting the unauthorized business of insurance...in the state of Washington."

Sensible Home Warranty has also been slapped with an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau; the bureau reports receiving more than 1000 complaints.

Call Kurtis: Home Warranty Company Won’t Fix or Replace My Noisy AC - August 22, 2013 by Mr HomeBuilder

MANTECA (CBS13) A Manteca couple says their air conditioner is making loud noises so they called their home warranty company.

When the company refused to fix or replace it, they called Kurtis.

They say their AC started acting up about a month ago but because it wasnt completely broken, American Home Shield wouldnt replace it.

    So what can you do?

Its summer, the last thing you want is your air conditioner to go out, said Dan Dole, Manteca resident.

Dan and Jamie Dole say lately their air conditioner hasnt been sounding very good.

You can hear it when youre sitting at the dinner table, when youre watching TV, said Jamie.

Sounds either like theres a helicopter outside hovering above, said Dan.

They paid $530 for American Home Shields home warranty.

After paying the $60 service call fee, Dan says the tech didnt fix or replace the AC unit because despite the noise, it was actually working.

TotalProtect Home Warranty Illustrates How to Protect Yourself When Bad Stuff Happens in First-Ever TV Campaign - August 1, 2013 by Mr HomeBuilder

Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) August 01, 2013

TotalProtect Home Warranty, one of the countrys leading home protection products, has launched a new television advertising campaign. The creative, entitled Bad Stuff Happens, shows the variety of ways that vital home appliances and systems, such as refrigerators, hot water heaters, toilets and air conditioning systems can break down, and why you need a home warranty from TotalProtect. The commercial uses a smart mnemonic device to show when things break, or stuff happens, to the appliances. The campaign ends with the tagline, Youre Covered.

A home warranty can provide valuable peace of mind to families, said Sandra Finn, president of Cross Country Home Services (CCHS), the parent company of TotalProtect Home Warranty. We know that a broken air conditioner or heating system can be disastrous, so the purpose of the new ad campaign is to show homeowners that even though stuff happens, you dont need to worry about it if you have a home warranty.

TotalProtect recently conducted an extensive national survey and found 65% of consumers had to repair or replace a major appliance or home system last year. Of the 1,059 respondents who needed repairs, they spent an average of $840 and those who had to make a replacement spent an average of $1,200. More than 35% of the survey respondents had both a repair and a replacement; and air conditioners were among the top named system to be repaired or replaced. These survey results, coupled with increased home sales around the country, prompted the company to launch the ad series.

"With the Case-Shiller Home Price Indices showing unprecedented growth for the housing market, we decided it was the perfect time to let homeowners know about our warranty services," continued Finn. "When people buy a home, they want to know that their investment is safe.

The new TotalProtect campaign launched on July 22, 2013 on a variety of national cable networks targeting new and existing homeowners. It was created and produced by award-winning direct response ad agency Karlin+Pimsler. To watch the 30-second spot, visit TotalProtects YouTube page.

Property4Prosperity Inc. Adds Value for Investors in Atlanta, Georgia by Providing One-Year Home Warranty on All … - July 26, 2013 by Mr HomeBuilder

San Gabriel, California (PRWEB) July 26, 2013

Real estate investment firm Property4Prosperity Inc. recently committed to bringing peace of mind to its investors with the promise that each property they provide in Atlanta, GA will come with an American Home Shield One-Year Home Warranty. A highly trusted name in the real estate industry, American Home Shield is the perfect warranty provider for protecting the real estate investments offered by Property4Prosperity.

With the warranty provided, investors do not have to worry about the failure of major appliances and household systems. Rather than being responsible for any repair fees or the cost of replacement, only a small trade service call fee is charged for examining the failing component to determine what action is necessary. The rest is covered by the warranty, saving investors time and money.

Among the reasons cited for this valuable offer is to encourage Property4Prosperitys clients to start looking at investment properties in Atlanta. Serving a customer base primarily centered in Australia and New Zealand, the real estate investment firm is headed by Chayot and Jennifer Ing-aram. The two co-founders recently acquired properties in Atlanta for themselves and are enjoying a strong positive cash flow, inspiring them to bring other investors to the area to reap the benefits.

A number of our Kiwi and Australian investors only invest in Memphis at the moment and rightly so, explains Chayot Ing-aram, but Atlanta is actually one of the best markets to be in right now. Its attracting a lot of investors, both individuals and hedge funds, so theres a lot of potential there that we dont want our clients to miss out on.

In addition to the one-year home warranty for Atlanta properties, Property4Prosperity is also providing a one-year rent guarantee on all of the properties they offer in both Memphis and Atlanta.

About Property4Prosperity Property4Prosperity is a California-based company that provides real estate investment opportunities in Memphis, TN and Atlanta, GA to clients around the world, including the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, and more.
