Summer is here! Its finally time to enjoy roof decks, sidewalk cafes, patios and any chair you can find outdoors. Howells & Hood located in the Tribune Tower on Michigan Avenue is the newest patio to hit the Mag Mile. This huge outdoor space is a great place to rest after a busy day of shopping, touring or after work in the loop. Lush planters and sleek tableside fires create a great atmosphere. Wicker Park welcomed a new bar and patio this spring. High Noon Saloon on Milwaukee puts a fun spin on a Western saloon. On beautiful summer days, the sidewalk patio is bustling. The long islands and margaritas pack a strong punch and go down smooth on a hot summer day. Very good bang for your buck with either of those two options! Though the portions arent the largest, the Tex-Mex cuisine makes for some great snacking. Location, outdoor patio and hearty drinks make it a great newcomer to the summer patio scene.
