Feng Shui 2019 – Flying Star – best remedies and …

    - April 6, 2019 by Mr HomeBuilder

    Feng Shui 2019 Overview

Chinese New Year 2019 will be marked across the world,Tuesday,February 5. In 2019, The Grand Duke is in the northwest, the Three Killings in 2019 is in the west and Sui Po in 2019 is in the southeast.

In period 8, (from 2004 to 2024) the three luckiest star numbers are 8, 6 and 1 while the unlucky stars are 2, 3, 5 and 7.

In the Year of The Pig 2019, the Victory Star is in the West, The Prosperity Luck Star 8 is in the Center, and The Multiplicative Star 9 is the North-West sector.

These energies bring prosperity and harmony, and many couples will be able to communicate more efficiently in 2019.

    MORE

The unfavorable stars will be positioned as follows: the Illness Star 2 will be in the North-East sector, the Bad Luck Star 5 will be in South-West, and Violence Star 7 will be in the South-East sector.

We will notice that many times during 2019, even if we do our best, even if we work hard, we will fail to see any of the expected results in our lives. In those cases, most likely, our living space or the place where we conduct our activities are charged with type Flying Stars of type 2, 3 or 5.

The type 2 stars bring illness, fatigue, stomach issues, depression, panic attacks, and those of type 3 are generating conflicts, limb health problems, and they attract theft and robbery. By far, the most harmful energies are those brought by flying star 5. This flying star brings bad luck, causes life blockages, and nightmares. The Flying Star 7 brings legal processes, gossip, and scandals.

Regarding the color of the furniture, the Feng Shui specialists claim that in 2019, there is no standard color that can be used in all the houses, but it is important how the nine energies associated with the five basic elements are displayed. The furniture can be green, blue, red, purple, yellow, white etc.

In 2019, attracting love by using the Feng Shui art can be accomplished only after performing an analysis of the space where we live and only if we sleep surrounded by the best energy, the energy of human harmony, which can attract a partner according to our desires and it can create stability and longevity in the couple.

To attract luck, we need a Feng Shui analysis of 2019, of the house or office and to properly apply the remedies. There are no talismans that could permanently bring us luck. We can wear a medallion with the image of an animal from the Chinese zodiac, if we face a penalty year or if, for ten years, the animals from our destiny and those from the period we are going through are in collision.

It is not recommended to wear medallions in the shape of snake, dragon or other animals, if you dont know what kind of relationship they have with the ones from your destiny.

North -East is not very favorable in 2019, because it is governed by the Illness Star. This flying star sometimes indicates health issues, especially for the older women or women who are pregnant, and difficulties concerning real estate investments.

To decrease the negative effects of this flying star, you can place in the North -Est area of your house some Feng Shui remedies, like a GOLDEN WU LUO or a Metal Stupa.

Avoid the Fires energy in this space! People who are especially at risk of being affected by the vibrations of the Illness Star are the Rooster , Rabbit, Rat, Horse natives and those with Kua/Gua number 7.

In 2019, against the black Illness Star, display in the North -Est one or more of the following remedies:

South-West is the most dangerous side of the house, because is under the influence of the Yellow Flying Star 5. Its best to avoid this space in all your important activities. If this is not possible, you need to minimalize the bad omen effluxions from here by placing Feng Shui remedies.

Remove from this area any Fire energies and avoid making any renovations in this part of the house, so you dont attract bad luck. People who are the most influenced by the energies of Flying Star 5 are the Rat and Dragon natives and those with Kua/Gua number 1.

In 2019, to counteract the influence of Bad Luck Star, place in the south-west side one or more of the following remedies:

The Center of the Lo Shu square is considered the sector of prosperity. It is associated with happiness, fame and wealth, with reaping the fruits of your hard work, your efforts. If the main house door is situated here, you can expect important benefits out of your investments and a notable advancement in your career. The people born in Dragon, Snake signs or with Kua/Gua number 4, are under the positive influence of this flying star throughout 2018.

During 2019, in order to benefit from the positive energy of flying star 8, display in the center of your house one or more of the following activators:

The northern part of your property is influenced by an extremely auspicious star for any study or educational activity. Moreover, this flying star is also representing arts and literature. Those who have a job or activate in an occupational field related to study can evolve in their enterprises.

If your children are going to school or college, or any of your family members are researchers, artists or writers, have them established in the south area of the house, so they can enjoy the benefits of this Flying Star. It has an increased, special influence on Horse natives and on people with Kua/Gua number 9.

During 2019, in order to benefit from the positive energy of Flying Star 4, display in the north one or more of the following activators:

This Flying Star reflects the power, the status, the authority obtained through hard and perseverant work. For this reason, the East side is an excellent sector to use in case you want to move up the professional hierarchy or if you want to gain recognition and appreciation for your career achievements.

Beware though! In case your bedroom is also placed in this sector, you can be affected by negative dispositions that could induce loneliness and sadness feelings or generate sudden changes, especially at work! The Celestial Star leaves its mark especially on the Goat and Monkey natives and on people with Kua/Gua number 2.

Throughout 2019, in order to benefit from the positive energy of Flying Star 6, display in the east area one or more of the following activators:

Emerged in the south-east sector in 2019, this Flying Star can cause some impulsive momentary emotions, thus causing disputes, violence and gossip and also health issues that could lead to hospitalization or surgical interventions.

The couples using this space can go through frequent quarrels and misunderstandings. In case your bedroom is placed here, beware of thieves or financial losses. The people born under the Rabbit sign and those with Kua/Gua number 3 seem to be the most influenced by this Flying Star.

More than that, the Flying Star 7 can announce fierce competitions and rivalry at work. To remove such negative energies, it is recommended to place a Feng Shui remedy, such as Yin Water in sector 7 of your house.

In 2019, in order to counteract the influence of the Robbery Star, display in the east one or more of the following remedies:

The name of the star indicates its capacity to multiply and to redirect the influence of other stars. Almost always, it signifies good news, happy events and a career promotion. It is also said that it brings popularity, prestige, glory and beauty. Because of that, the nord-west zone of your home represents a favorable sector for starting something new, which might also include initiating another professional route.

Right after the center zone, the north-west zone is considered to be on the second place in terms of increasing prosperity. If you have a door in this zone, try to use it as often as possible in order to progress in your financial activities.

The couples that plan to get married or to start a family can gain substantial benefits from the auspicious energies of this space.

In 2019, in order to benefit from the positive energy of Flying Star 9, display in the Space Center one or more of the following activators::

The south side of your house is occupied by Flying Star 3, which is correlated to bad luck, lawsuits, disputes, defamation and money loss. Water element must be avoided in this sector, while Fire element is recommended, due to its capacity to weaken the influences of this Flying Star.

It is said that people who suffer of health issues such as liver, upper and lower limbs affections, must avoid this region of their home.

The most affected by the energy of this Flying Star are those born under the Ox and Tiger zodiac signs and those with Kua number 8.

In 2019, to oppose the power of the Quarrelsome Star, display in the south side one or more of the following remedies:

It is considered the star of nobility and its frequently associated with good reputation and a high social status. In the past years, the energies of this Flying Star had been excellent for gaining prosperity, recognition and good luck.

If your front door is in the west side, in 2019 you can expect good news and numerous travelling opportunities. If you workplace is situated in this zone, you seem to be appreciated and taken into account by your bosses and colleagues.

This Flying Star is especially favorable for Dog and Pig natives and for those with Kua number 6.

In 2019, in order to benefit from the positive energy of Flying Star 1, display in the west side, one or more of the following remedies:

Feng Shui is the science that studies the energies inside the house, therefore only if you rearrange the furniture in the house or at the office, you can disturb the Feng Shui. More than 6000 years ago, the Chinese managed to discover certain calculation formulas, which they were using in order to amplify the negative energies and diminish the negative ones from the space where they were working or living.

    MORE

In the traditional Feng Shui discipline (The Form and Compass School), the human body is considered an interface between its specific internal environment and the ambient, external environment.

Between the two environments there is a permanent exchange of substances, energies and signals, which is based on the stimulus-response principles and it is conducted according the cyclical rhythms.

The nine energies governing the space where the human being lives or works belong to the Big Dipper. Each energy belongs to one of the five basic elements. In Feng Shui, the time is divided in nine eras of 20 years each.

Additionally to this basic energy, there is the energy of each year, month, day and hour. With the help of an expert, anyone could place in the house the remedies recommended for 2018, which improve the life by 10-15%.

Thus, by using a compass, we can identify the cardinal points and directions, but the measurements must be made outside, not inside the house, due to the interference of the electronic devices.

By taking the house plan and drawing the diagonal lines, we can determine the center, then we divide in eight zones, plus center nine, which correspond to the eight cardinal directions.

The Flying Stars (Xuan Kong) represents an excellent Feng Shui formula, which you can use to optimize your luck in 2019 the Earth Pig Year. This precise and easy to use method can be applied to discover what kind of energy lies in a specific location, so that the users can find out how and where to reify the good and eliminate the negative Chi during this year.

    MORE

The Flying Stars formula is based on the cardinal directions, divided in nine sectors, from an office building or a house. Flying Stars can determine in which sector the good luck or the bad luck vibrations are dominant. With the help of Flying Stars you can quickly and efficiently improve your luck by using Feng Shui.

This system analyses the interaction between the 5 elements or energies fire, earth, metal, water and wood from different sectors of a location.

Depending on the outcome, we increase the positive energy of the good stars or a favorable combination that can offer us all the support we need in life, and weaken or eliminate the negative energy of the bad stars or an unfavorable combination of these, by keeping them away.

Every year, we will offer you an annual kit with Feng Shui remedies for that year, to help you increase the beneficial energy and to halt the negative energy.

With the aid of Feng Shui remedies, you can control and eliminate the negative energy of the Flying Stars: 2, 3, 5 and 7 and create welcoming spaces, full of positive energy, so that your health, your finances and your relationships can flourish.

In the Earth Pig year of 2019, in regard to colors, we must also refer to our personal chart, because a color that is excessively present in someones destiny can create health problems. For example, if someone who is born in a Fire year and month, wears the 2019s colors red and red derivatives it is most likely to suffer from heart and circulatory system affections and to develop slight organ infections. The lucky colors of 2019 are: white, orange, red, pink, white, and gray. Also, the specific colors of the Earth are added, brown and yellow.

Dogs, cats and pigs in an apartment or house are considered activators, because they move all the time and they can move the energy, regardless if the energy is positive or negative. Dogs, cats and pigs are great space purifiers.

Can you have a pig as a house pet?Pot-bellied pigs can make excellent pets, theyre very clean so they are good for pets in your house.

How to Become an Interior Decorator – The Spruce

    - April 6, 2019 by Mr HomeBuilder

If you are interested in becoming an interior decorator, it's important to know what the career path entails. You're probably wondering how to get started as well.

A successful decorator does much more than pick out pretty fabrics and rearrange furniture. In a typical day, they may deal with cabinet spacing, steer a homeowner away from a budget-blowing item, track down a missing tile installer, work on a seasonal installation for a business storefront, make a presentation in front of an architectural review boardand the list goes on.

This is a small sampling of a decorators daily duties. As you can see, they need vast knowledge to perform the various skills required, and lots of experience doesnt hurt either!

But how does a decorator or a person get to this point? There are a few key points that can help you understand how to become a decorator and what it takes to be a successful one. However, good decorators know that decorating is a wonderful journey and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge!

If you think you have some design sense, but little experience, you might be wondering if there's a way to tell if you'll be a good interior decorator. The great news is that there is! Just ask yourself a few questions:

Technically, you do not need a degree to become an interior decorator. However, knowledge never hurt anyone. Plus, clients and firms are usually more receptive to hiring someone who has taken the time to secure a degree.

Many people wonder if they need artistic talent to be a decorator. Again, its not necessary but it certainly doesnt hurt. Many clients arent great at visualizing a final outcome. Its important to be able to show your clients a potential floor plan or room colors in three dimensionswhether in a drawing or on a computerbefore you begin the actual work.

The two main organizations for decorators are the IDS and the CID. Joining is not mandatory, but these societies offer great ways to keep a finger on the pulse of the design industry. Plus, they offer opportunities for further education, networking, and more.

Should you join? These organizations provide a serviceat a costso it is up to you to decide if either (or both) of these programs would be beneficial to you.

There is a wide range of career opportunities in the design field. The majority of decorators are residential designers, but many work in the commercial field, such as the hotel or restaurant industry. If you would like to specialize in these industries, additional education or experience may be required.

However, the decorating field goes beyond being a designer. Many decorators enter the retail industry or work in sales. Furniture stores, home stores, fabric stores, window and blind stores, and home supply centers are only a few examples of industries that often employ decorators.

There is also a growing field of crossover careers. For example, a number of designers find a voice as a writer and editor, offering advice using their design knowledge. This is fast becoming known as "interior design journalism." Many decorators also work in the specialized service industry and become decorative painters, window covering designers, and more.

The biggest question you may have is where to start. It's one that comes with lots of answers. The best advice is to start slow and be patient. The tips below may help you to get going in the field of decorating and open up jobs and opportunities to you. Always remember, you and your work are your best tools for advertising.

Network with your friends, relatives, neighbors, civic organizations, neighborhood associations, your church, or other local businesses and organizations. Local trade shows can be wonderful ways to meet people in the industry. Word of mouth is a huge tool in the life of a decorator.

This is a competitive field, but it's rare to meet a designer who isn't willing to share information, advice, and tools of the trade. Overall, it's a friendly bunch and people want to help others in the field as much as possible. Of course, always be willing to pay forward or back any kindness shown to you.

This includes carriers and manufacturers of furniture, wall coverings, tile, flooring, fabrics, etc. Don't forget about contractors and subcontractors who build or do painting, brickwork, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Retail home stores are great places to hold a day job until you build up your clientelebut dont discount the general laborers. You may learn more and meet more potential clients by working for a local painter than you ever will by clocking time at Pottery Barn.

A business card is great; a website is a huge bonus. But one thing you absolutely need is a portfolio. Your website can be your portfolioand if you have a website, it probably should bebut people want to see your work, even if it is limited. If you havent had much hands-on experience, start with your own home or family members. Most people will be happy to chip in some money for supplies if you are willing to redo a room for free.

Decorators often work in the interior sales industry, touting wares to local home stores for a commission. More experienced salespeople often garner a salary also. If you would rather work from home and set your own hours, consider starting a home-based home decor business. This can also be a great way to network!

This industry is constantly changing and you need to know what is going on in the trade. If you enjoy decorating, this will be easy and fun for you. Follow color trends, read trade magazines and attend market and home shows. After all, learning never stops!

Although our professional installers will gladly move any standard furniture (beds, sofas, chairs, tables, entertainment centers, etc.), our team is not able to move specialty pieces like aquariums or pianos.

Theres no need for you to worry about disposing of your carpet safely or whether or not your trash service will accept your old carpet and padding. Our professional carpet installation team will haul your old carpet and padding away and be sure that it is hauled to the proper facility.

Shrub Disease Treatment | Save Your Shrubs with SavATree

    - April 5, 2019 by Mr HomeBuilder

Shrub disease protection begins with a comprehensive inspection of your landscape by one of our ISA certified arborists. During this inspection, your arborist will be able to determine the overall health of the landscape and recommend appropriate disease or other treatments which can improve the condition of your trees and shrubs and preserve the vitality of your property.

Fire blight is caused by the bacteria Erwinia amylovora, over 130 members of the Rosaceae family are susceptible, including; apple and crabapple, cotoneaster, firethorn, hawthorn, mountain ash, and pear. Infected leaves, stems, twigs and fruits will turn brown to black. Fire blight will blacken the smooth-barked, green branches and affected twigs develop a shepherds crook.

Needle, tip or twig blights occur on arborvitae, cypress and juniper species turning tips of twigs and ends of needles brown or grey. Black, pimple-like fungal fruiting structures may develop on needle surfaces. These blights can be caused by fungi in the genera Phompsis, Diplodia or Coryneum.

Cercospora species and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides are two of several fungi which cause leaf spot diseases on Rhododendron species and azalea cultivars. Small, irregular brown to black spots will appear on leaves, which will eventually drop prematurely, when infected by Cercospora spp. Lesions caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides are round, brown spots visible on both upper and lower surfaces of leaves. These fungal diseases may first appear as symptoms of winter desiccation.

Its February: Time To Plan Spring Tree & Shrub Treatments …

    - April 5, 2019 by Mr HomeBuilder

It may still be winter but spring is just around the corner. And with spring comes new leaves on trees and shrubs, gorgeous flowers and insect pests and diseases.

No one likes to think about the dark side of springs warmer temperatures, but ignoring it now can lead to damaged and dying trees later in the season.

Late winter is the best time to plan and schedule ways to treat landscape problems. Early identification and treatment of pest and disease issues is far more effective than waiting until problems become severe.

Plus, theres only a limited window of opportunity during which the treatments are effective. Miss the early spring treatment window and your trees and shrubs will be subjected to another growing season of stress before we can help them.

    >> Learn more about common spring diseases affecting trees in Northeast Ohio

Heres the typical schedule for essential tree and shrub treatments in northeast Ohio

Mid-March through mid-April The first spring treatment is typically a horticultural oil spray that smothers the pesky overwintering pests and their eggs on your evergreens. This will benefit your rhododendrons, spruce trees, hollies, pine trees, and azaleas.

March through May As the landscape comes to life, its time to help things along with a late winter/early spring fertilization.

April through June This is the time for fungicide applications for the control of apple scab, anthracnose mildew, rust, and other fungal diseases. As with all things horticultural, the timing depends on the weather and generally requires 2 to 3 treatments for good control. The trees and shrubs that will benefit are crab apples, lilacs, hawthorns, dogwoods, and magnolias.

April through July Emerald Ash Borer treatments take place during these months. This beetle is a huge concern for northeast Ohio ash trees; if you have ash on your property they should be treated or removed.

Late May through July A further insecticide treatment is applied to control early emerging pests, such as leaf miners, lace bugs and the viburnum leaf beetle.

May to September Japanese beetle, aphid and summer mite treatments are usually applied at this time.

August If you have elm and/or oak trees, this is the time to treat them for Dutch Elm Diseaseand/or Oak Wilt two tree diseases that are fatal if not treated with a preventive application.

September through November Trees and shrubs that werent fertilized in spring may benefit from a fall fertilization to ensure vitality as they head into winter.

November Broad leaf evergreens are given an application of anti-desiccant to protect them from drying out over winter.

Insecticide, fungicide and other treatments are best applied in a thoughtful, integrated manner so the various applications work together to give your landscape the best chance for success. Doing so requires us to design a customized plan thats specific to the plants growing on your property and your needs. That takes time, including time to perform a thorough inspection of your property.

We schedule treatments well in advance to ensure that we can meet the needs of all of our clients who have signed up for our Plant Health Care program.

While we do our best to fit in emergency treatments, its not always possible to do so within the timeframe necessary to effectively treat the insect or disease problem.

Thats why planning for spring while the snow is still flying is so important.

Call us today at 440-564-1374 to set up your spring planning appointment with one of our arborists.

Plumber | Ratchet & Clank Wiki | FANDOM powered by Wikia

    - April 4, 2019 by Mr HomeBuilder

The Plumber (known occasionally as the Mechanic in the original Ratchet & Clank,[1] the WaterWorker,[2] or the Janitor) is a recurring character in the Ratchet & Clank series, who makes an appearance in most entries in the series. He is a mysterious traveling handyman from the Solana Galaxy who repairs leaky plumbings and other mechanical apparatuses all across the universe and beyond. He has seemingly omniscient knowledge, and often appears to provide aid or cryptic advice to Ratchet and Clank during their adventures.

Ratchet and Clank with The Plumber.

Ratchet and Clank first encountered the Plumber fixing a pipe on planet Novalis after the mission "Explore the waterworks", which opened up "Buy Infobot from mechanic", in which he then sold them an infobot in exchange for 500 bolts to get a shuttle off the planet, which was being devastated by the blarg. The infobot contained a recording of Skidd McMarx and his agent being shot down over Aridia, providing the two with coordinates to the planet.

The Plumber later encountered the duo on Batalia, where he had found work on repairing Fort Krontos' heavy turret. While he had successfully repaired it, none of the locals had the skill to use it. After Ratchet offered to use it, noting that the blarg had already chased the Plumber off Novalis and that it would be useless if no one was using the turret, the Plumber reluctantly allowed Ratchet to operate it despite the risk to his job, giving them the mission "Destroy the bombers". After Ratchet manned the turret and brought down several blarg destroyers, the Plumber rewarded them with a Metal Detector that his grandfather had invented to find spare change underneath the surface of any planet in the galaxy.[3]

The Plumber among others in re-imagined film

The Plumber had different roles in Qwark's retelling of events and in the holo-film. In Qwark's retelling, the Plumber was entirely aware of his events in the original game, and had a similar role. Ratchet and Clank found him working on a way to escape planet Novalis, entirely aware of his role in the original release. The Plumber granted them an infobot for planet Kerwan, containing details of Chairman Drek's plan to invade the planet, before offering to help repair Ratchet and Clank's ship. Once the two repaired the ship and saved Agnogg Buckwash, the Plumber repaired the ship. Qwark tried to claim that the Plumber, Ratchet, and Clank encountered a "brain-eating zombie T-Rex" here, though Shiv Helix interrupted Qwark's story as this was blatantly untrue. Once the Plumber fixed the ship, Ratchet and Clank thanked him, to which the Plumber ominously replied "see you in the next reboot". Unlike the original release, the Plumber did not appear on Batalia.

In the holo-film, The Plumber had a much smaller role. First, he showed up as a crowd member gathering around Ratchet on Kerwan. Later, the Plumber appeared at the end of the final credits screen scolding the audience for having not left the movie yet.

During their adventures in the Bogon Galaxy, Ratchet and Clank encountered the Plumber aboard the flying lab on Aranos, where he had been called in to unblock a pipe, a job he accepted as he was paid triple time to complete it, plus travel expenses.[4] He discovered it was blocked by a Captain Qwark action figure, which he then sold to the duo for 20,000 bolts. After selling it, he ominously told Ratchet he that he would see him "in another year or so".[4]

The Plumber later met Ratchet and Clank once again, this time in the sewers of Aquatos. Upon their arrival, he ominously exclaimed that they were "right on schedule" (implying he knew when they would show up). He then claimed he was there to make a present for his wife out of Sewer Crystals, and paid Ratchet and Clank for every Sewer Crystal they collected. After they sold him all crystals, he said that he would see the duo again "one of these days."

While Ratchet and Clank competed in DreadZone, the Plumber was called out due to a sump pump emergency in the Rygylian Nebula, meaning he was unable to appear.[5]

The Plumber appeared in Ratchet's Dreamtime, as he could be seen floating around. He was the only three dimensional character seen floating.

Ratchet encountered the Plumber on the Prison Planet in the Prison Showers, fixing the cold water. He asked Ratchet to give him a hand, though this knocked something loose and angered the nearby prisoners, starting a brawl.

The Plumber in Tools of Destruction

The Plumber was found on Sargasso where he had created a "high speed interplanetary transportation gizmo", which resembled a toilet, and exclaimed to them that he "almost didn't recognize you in high def". He also strangely gave the two heroes a "3 Centicubit Hexagonal Washer" just in case they needed it. On top of this, he said that the weapon capable of vaporizing the cragmites they were looking for did not exist, claiming that he'd been "everywhere in this universe and beyond" and had never encountered such a device. This led Clank to speculate that the cragmites had just been moved rather than destroyed.

Clank later used the Hexagonal Washer to repair the Dimensionator after defeating Emperor Tachyon, as it had been broken during the fight, allowing him and Ratchet to return to their dimension.

    The Plumber in Clank's mind

Clank found The Plumber in when entering his subconscious through one of the Mnemonic Chambers in the Great Clock. The Plumber claimed to be there after taking a wrong turn in Clank's memory banks, having originally intended to enter Qwark's brain, which he thought he had arrived in because of all the emptiness. The Plumber then told Clank he must accept his new responsibilities, even though the first steps are the hardest, and then cryptically told him "I wouldn't risk any more than 6 minutes," before Clank abruptly awoke.

This advice later helped Clank. When Alister Azimuth killed Ratchet while racing to enter the Orvus Chamber in the Great Clock, Clank recalled the Plumber's advice, and reset the Clock back six minutes, just long enough for him to prevent Ratchet from dying but short enough to not damage space and time.

The Plumber rescues Talwyn, Ratchet and Vorn from drowning in the aqueduct

The Plumber watches Talwyn, Ratchet and Vorn run off after saving them from drowning in the aqueduct

The Plumber appears in Issue 6: Bros Before Foes. Ratchet, Talwyn Apogee and Vorn Garblak nearly drown after attempting to swim to the opposite side of an aqueduct in the Apogee Space Station, as the door from the inside is locked shut. The Plumber unlocked the door from the outside and pulled the three out just before they faced certain death, warning them that the aqueduct is not designed for swimming.

Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark, and Dr. Nefarious were confronted by the Plumber on planet Magnus after discovering their exit platform was damaged. Stranded and freezing to death at the weather of the icy tundra, the four were encountered by the Plumber after he was sent to replace someone else's job to fix the platform.

The Plumber fixed the platform, and before leaving on it, Ratchet asked if the Plumber had any mystical advice that would help them in their quest to defeat Nevo Binklemeyer. The Plumber simply questioned Ratchet, and gave him a wink before the four went on their way, perhaps knowing that Nevo was not the true enemy.

The Plumber skin on the blue team in Full Frontal Assault

The Plumber appeared in the Starship Phoenix II and made comments as the QForce move around him. He then left to Markazia after Stuart Zurgo sent a transmission. Zurgo used a Hologuise to disguise himself as The Plumber and access the Starship Phoenix II later. When Ratchet received a distress call from the Plumber and arrived on scene, he realized that the Plumber on board the Phoenix II was an impostor and quickly returned to the ship.

The Plumber is also a skin in in multiplayer unlocked by purchasing the Classic Pack downloadable content.

The Plumber in a communication to Ratchet.

The Plumber appeared giving advice to Ratchet in communication as he pursued Vendra and Neftin Prog who had kidnapped Fleebar Snuttleblast.

At some point before the game, the Plumber invented the RYNO VII, breaking it up into holo-plans for safekeeping.

The Plumber first showed up on the Nebulox Seven Prison Ship, apparently doing contract work between toilets. During his work, he got himself locked inside a vault on the ship, which was able to withstand the explosion of the Nebulox when the Prog twins had destroyed it. This vault eventually landed on planet Thram in the Zarkov Sector. In order to unlock the vault, Ratchet collected six keys from across the swamp on Thram, at which point the Plumber could assemble the RYNO VII for Ratchet once given the holo-plans. However, if the player unlocked the safe again in challenge mode already possessing the RYNO VII, the Plumber was gone.

The Plumber is a mysterious being, of the same species as other characters from the Solana Galaxy, such as Agnogg Buckwash, who has demonstrated apparent omniscience throughout his encounters with Ratchet and Clank, as well as awareness of the fourth wall. His omniscience is used as a plot device, but also to break the fourth wall and provide comic relief. For instance, the Plumber know when he would run into Ratchet and Clank, as he noted in Going Commando that he would see them in a year, and then noted in Up Your Arsenal (a year later) that they were right on schedule. Later, in Tools of Destruction, the Plumber knew that the duo would need a 3 Centicubit Hexagonal Washer to repair the Dimensionator when escaping Tachyon, and in A Crack in Time, he knew that Clank would need to travel back six minutes to save Ratchet. However, the knowledge he provided was always cryptic, as he never gave away too much to the duo, only enough to help them complete their quest. The Plumber is also aware of the fourth wall, commenting in Tools of Destruction that he almost didn't recognize Ratchet and Clank in high definition. Similarly, in the 2016 re-imagined release of Ratchet & Clank, he is entirely aware of the events of the original Ratchet & Clank, and is aware that he is in a reboot.

The Plumber also claimed to have been "everywhere in this universe, and beyond" in Tools of Destruction, demonstrating apparent omnipresence. He could reach every galaxy, and also entered Clank's subconscious and mentioned being able to travel to other minds as well. While the Plumber did seem to provide invaluable knowledge to the duo, he nonetheless claimed during many of his meetings with them that they were coincidental, saying that he was hired to do another job.

The Plumber is apparently a skilled inventor, able to create interplanetary transportation devices, as well as the RYNO VII, the most powerful weapon in the universe when it was built.

    Tools of Destruction concept art

The Plumber was voiced by Neil Flynn, the voice of "The Janitor" on the TV sitcom Scrubs, in the original trilogy. However, he was voiced by Jess Harnell in all of his appearances from Tools of Destruction onwards, including in the re-imagined release of Ratchet & Clank, both by Flynn and Harnell. Jess Harnell also voiced the Smuggler, a similar character who appeared in most entries following Tools of Destruction to provide Ratchet help.

Series writer TJ Fixman had written a reason why the Plumber appeared in every game, which was never revealed before Fixman left Insomniac.[6]

Insomniac concept artist Dave Guertin based The Plumber's design on his father and his own life as a construction worker.[7]

The Plumber has appeared in some form in every title in the series, including the Ratchet & Clank Manga: Volume 1, aside from Deadlocked (though his absence was explained at the end of the credits), Quest for Booty and Going Mobile. His appearances have become a running joke. Initially, he provided mostly optional missions after his first appearance, though from Tools of Destruction onwards, provided a more crucial plot role in his appearances, often showing up in the right place at the right time.
